The Way Out is Through

[Clint Cross]

Clint smiled and walked alongside her. "Alright ya yahoos... we got our target, we got a bunch of crates of weapons that this guy was building and we got some intel." he held up his glasses. "Mac... Jason... since we've got a lot to go through, I went ahead and put a SHIELD team on standby for you guys." he pulled off his shooting glove. "Oh and Mac... do you still have my spare quiver in Unit 32? Some Scion nutjob hit mine and it blew up in his face. I'd steal one of your's, but that wouldn't be fair."

[Mac Calhoun]

"Don't you have an armory full of that stuff in your basement?" Mac inquired eyeing him. "But yes I still have it."

[Clint Cross]

"I DID until the construction guys started playing with it and I gave it to you and JT for safekeeping." He raised an eyebrow at her. "Unless JT's been messing with it..." he cleared his throat. "And we allllll remember what happened the last time I let him use the tactical arrowheads."

[Mac Calhoun]

"Don't remind me." Mac said rolling her eyes. "Yeah it's in the unit and no JT hasn't touched it."

[Clint Cross]

"Good." Clint said and patted her shoulder. "Oh new Widow bites, work way better. Even on big guys. Stock up." he glanced at Selene. "Alright... quick bang out our reports and then... we're not coming back in until at least lunch tomorrow."

[Mac Calhoun]

"For the love of the gods don't think." Mac said pointing at him. "My headache is finally gone. Just don't do it Clint I mean it. Think about new arrowhead designs or what color you're going to paint the bathroom."

[Clint Cross]

"Oh you're going to love it... thinking of this pale blue. Waaay better than that baby shit brown we had." Clint said with a laugh. "Guest room is going to be green stained wood. Should look cool when the windows are opened. I really want to kick the shit out of Bartyn for blowing the place up and I kinda want to thank him... I have no idea what we were thinking with some of the choices we made in the last one. Oh and you're going to probably find excuses to use the new archery range. I put in way more insulation, I let off a grenade in there and it didn't even rattle the dishes in the kitchen."

[Mac Calhoun]

“You let off a grenade in your house?” Selene inquired with a raised eyebrow.

“He does it all the time. Usually when he’s trying out new arrowheads.” Mac said dismissively. “You know you have to actually finish the place for me to come by Clint. You had this issue with the last one until Selene finally got tired of it.”

[Clint Cross]

"Yeah well... she was pregnant at the time too." Clint winced. "Yeah I know I took forever. This one should be ready in a month or so.

“Or so.” Mac teased. “You’re such a perfectionist.”
