The Way Out is Through

[Clint Cross]

"Wow, deep scans and she's been in the house for... less than two minutes." Clint glanced at his watch. "Well I am glad that at least all the security upgrades and the sensor suite we installed in you paid off." he shook his head. "Yeah... I suppose you got me, this is more than just a tour."

[Liara]

“In that case avoid upstairs the bedrooms are a disaster. The workshop is clean and everything is in order down there I even made your bed. There are still some candles in the side table if she's into that. Also remember two millimeters to the right and with that I’ll go into privacy mode.” Rommie said as she disappeared dropping the feather duster in the floor.

“Two millimeters to the right?” Selene inquired with a raised eyebrow.

[Clint Cross]

"She... likes to give advice." Clint shook his head and chuckled. "One of the kids put her into the alarm clock and she'd critique our sexual exploits. 'Oh, if you only moved this way you'd increase both your pleasure'."

[Liara]

Selene laughed, "Did it help?"

[Clint Cross]

"Other than mind control... we were exclusive for years." Clint replied. "Anyway..." he gestured. "Yeah place isn't all together, but I do have a few bottles of Moscato." he waked over to a cabinet and revealed their 'wine cellar' "Just a few bottles..."

[Liara]

"Were you hoping she'd develop a taste for it again?" Selene inquired as she examined the numerous bottles. She ran her finger along the bottles examining each. “Do you have a favorite?”

[Clint Cross]

Clint pulled out a couple of bottles. "I like these a bit more, honestly everything here is good. Some are better or slightly different." he shrugged his shoulders. "We weren't wine snobs and while she did lose a bit of her taste for it after Jackson sorta ruined Moscato and Strawberries for her and roses... we did entertain and we kinda got others hooked on Moscato and Strawberries. So it's an easy go to gift..." he laughed. "Of everything we lost, we didn't lose the wine cellar. That kind of influenced the rebuild. The workshop can take a grenade without any damage, so I've rebuilt the rest of the place the same way. That's how this place got blown up, he shot a rocket propelled grenade into the place. Now... all anyone would manage to do is just ruin my furniture and blow out the decorative windows."

[Liara]

“Jackson does enjoy finding the things you like twisting it.” Selene informed him as she picked a bottle and put the others back. She made a mental note of which ones Clint favored. “Your improvements to the house are genius. There aren’t many people would be able to adapt. They get knocked down and then just move on to somewhere else.”

[Clint Cross]

"I'm stubborn." Clint said with a half smile. "But I like this area, it's quiet, there's a small lake that Bella thinks is all her's. There's wild game in the forest, I'm not a huge hunter but I find that we have to thin the herds a bit. I get the wood I use for some of my more traditional arrows from fallen trees on the land. It's peaceful here, and private. James likes that he can take a fifteen minute walk and find a little grove or a cave or something and make out with his girlfriend and pretend that I don't know."

[Liara]

“Because you take a 15 minute walk and do the same thing?” Selene inquired as she closed the cabinet door. “It sounds very...peaceful and safe.”
