The Way Out is Through

[Clint Cross]

Clint lead her down the stairs to the 'Workshop', it was one of the first things he had rebuilt, mostly because it was easy enough to turn the open area into a living space akin to a one bedroom apartment. There was a large leather couch, a small dining table and separated by a Shoji like screen was a queen sized bed. Although what he didn't expect were all the candles and music.

"Looks like Rommie was busy..." he chuckled lightly. "So yeah... first woman outside of Selene and Bella to really come down here."

[Liara]

"Apparently your AI has a romantic side." Selene said with a laugh. "Though with the lights off it's...it's nice."

[Clint Cross]

"Yeah she does... and thanks." Clint said as he saw the tea warmer all set up. "Looks like she even brewed the tea for us." he gave her a look. "I'll freely admit, it took a LOT of willpower not to just take you in the office but... like my mom always said, good things come to those who wait."

[Liara]

"It wouldn't have been the first time I would have been on camera." Selene said and raised an eyebrow. "Tea? Wait are we trying the Thessian tea that killed you?"

[Clint Cross]

"It shouldn't have been mixed with alcohol and you take the blue tea... we fuck like there's no tomorrow and then when we're done, we drink another tea and that kinda stops the other one." Clint replied. "We just never drink the homebrew mixed with Thessian tea ever again... unless we're trying to get near death and then hey... what a way to go. But yeah, that was crazy."

[Liara]

"Yeah how about you not die on me again." Selene said as she laid her suit and boots in a corner. She joined him by the tea pot, inspecting its contents. It actually smelled pretty good. "Alright I suppose I'll try the real thing. Rommie seemed rather intimate with her scans and I doubt she'd give you anything that would kill you. So should be safe."

[Clint Cross]

"Rommie is like a mother hen sometimes." Clint said with an amused smile. "Although there are times when I do think she wants to kill me. I annoy her sometimes."

[Liara]

“She’d miss you.” Selene said as she poured the tea into two tiny tea cups. “Last chance to turn back Clint.”

[Clint Cross]

"If I wanted to turn back, I wouldn't take you down here." Clint said as he picked up one of the cups. "So... here's to being unmissable."

[Liara]

Selene smiled as she raised her tea cup and then took a sip. The flavor was similar to the floral notes she’d picked up in the homebrew but so much stronger and better. It reminded her oddly of a spring afternoon.

“I like this.” Selene said taking another sip. “Too bad you don’t drink it all the time.”
