The Way Out is Through

[Clint Cross]

"Well..." Clint chuckled. "We could but then we'd be having sex most of the time. Which oddly enough doesn't sound so bad."

[Liara]

“No it doesn’t but I do enjoy talking to you too.” Selene said smiling at him.

[Clint Cross]

"Well talking and having sex... sounds like a good life. Coupled with take out of course... maybe a movie." Clint said with a smirk. "I am seriously considering taking some actual leave when this Dominus situation is over. It'll be roughly 10 years of solid missions. Sure there were breaks and lulls but I dunno... wouldn't mind having a travel buddy, there's a whole planet I haven't really explored yet. You ever go on a road trip?"

[Liara]

“No.” Selene said as she finished her tea and sat the cup on the table. “I haven’t had a life outside of missions. This would be the first thing I’ve done because I wanted to. Not because my life depended on it or a mission dictated it.”

[Clint Cross]

"Sound do more things because you want to." Clint said with a smile. "Hey Selene and I were the same way when we first met. About the only thing either of us could do for ourselves was figure out what to eat or drink. I have had plenty of 'outs' to get away from the Intel business but it keeps drawing me back in. That's why I wouldn't say 'quit' because... hell, Olivia 'quit' and guess who's tiny, purple haired butt was back in the office handing off intel."

[Liara]

“There is a difference between wanting and being forced. I didn’t choose my life.” Selene told him. “But I did choose to come here to this reality. Even if it was to save my own ass. And I chose to come down here with you, to drink this tea, and see what the future might hold for us.”

[Clint Cross]

"That's good... it's a great start." Clint said as he finished his tea and looked into her eyes. "So... next choice... who starts tearing clothes off first?"

[Liara]

“Well someone never changed.” Selene said as she ran her fingers over Clint’s suit clad chest. “Hawkeye.” She added her voice dripping with desire as she slowly slid the zipper down.

[Clint Cross]

Clint played with the hem of her dress as she slid the zipper of his tactical shirt down. "I love how you say that..."

[Liara]

“Hawkeye.” She said again smiling at him as she pushed the shirt off.

Selene left a trail of kisses across Clint’s bare chest as she worked her way down to the edge of his pants. Kneeling, she unfastened his boots and helped him out of them. When they were tossed aside she ran her hands along his leather clad legs to and up to his belt buckle. Smiling mischievously at him she undid the buckle and slowly worked his pants off. She cast them aside and took a step back.

He looked amazing as the candle light danced across his bare flesh. As her fingers felt for the zipper at the back of her dress she suddenly felt nervous. The realization of just how much this meant hit her. It was far more intimate then they’d been. She was the only other woman he’d been with since his wife here and this...this was a level of intimacy she’d never experienced before.

Selene let the dress slide down her body and pool at her feet revealing matching lavender lace. Slowly she took a step out of it locking eyes with Clint. Waiting for him to make the next move.
