The Way Out is Through

[Clint Cross]

"Good, make sure the door is secure, I doubt either of us are getting dressed to actually interact with people for a while." Clint played with the short hairs on the back of her neck. "Last thing I need is Garcia going 'oh dios mio... a spectre!" and being too freaked out to finish the floor."

[Liara]

"I did consider that." Rommie said with a smile as she sat on the edge of the bed. "I cleaned the suits and put them away...is everything alright? I picked up a high levels of stress early this morning."

[Clint Cross]

"Nightmare." Clint pointed to her and shrugged his shoulders. "And thanks for cleaning up the suits... don't think I didn't hear you telling BECKI that you felt under appreciated. I do appreciate everything you do around here."

[Liara]

"I know." Rommie said and smiled at him. "After all I'm the only one you trust with your daughter. I don't see any MIKIs running around or BECKI."

[Clint Cross]

"Well Becki is the President's system and Nick Ryder's. And MIKIs are for missions, you're... way more complex." Clint said with a smile. "And Kaitlyn seems to like you. I'm kind of glad she's with Bella at Jon, ever since they lost the pregnancy, I think they were ready for a kid, even though she's her sister, still... scratches that itch for them. I do miss her... I'll swing by and spend some daddy daughter time, so she doesn't completely forget me." cocked his head to Selene. "Wonder if I should introduce her to the little one. Or too weird?" he whispered when he noticed she had drifted back off to sleep.

[Rommie]

"I'm not exactly the most well versed on children but from what you told me James seemed to like her. Kaitlyn is a lot younger though...and Selene looks exactly like her mother. That being said Carly could always tell the difference but I don't know if that was a result of her telepathy or not." Rommie said glancing at Selene. "What I do know is that if you plan to continue this relationship they will eventually meet. Selene will not think it's weird...Kaitlyn isn't her daughter and she knows you come with childern. Kaitlyn, however, may think she's her mother. She also hasn't meet Isabella."

[Clint Cross]

"I suppose we should just pull that band aid off and just have them meet. It's going to happen sooner than later anyway and... I do intend on seeing this continue. I kind of got Selene's blessing. Besides, nothing to be ashamed of, I'm dating an alternate of the same woman I was married to. Same things I liked, same things that annoyed me but I never talk about are there. Probably remembering my wife more with her around than if I started dating some other woman." Clint said and shrugged his shoulders. "And she needs this as much as I do AND as much our Selene needed this."

[Rommie]

"Well I have your back." Rommie said. "And if Bella gets to be well too Bella I have a recording of Selene telling me to make sure you're happy and sensors indicate that you are. Especially after last night. I could play the recording of that too."

[Clint Cross]

"Maybe... but we'll just lead with that we're both happy and we want this to happen." Clint said and looked at Selene's peacefully sleeping form. "I'm sure eventually she's going to get that same crisis of 'am I getting too soft' that our's went through and tonight she had a bit of that. Her version of Noonian locked in her a coffin to punish her more than once. Forgot about her months."

[Rommie]

"Fucker." Rommie said angrily. "Oh don't look at me like that. Don't forget who I originally belonged to and before that. But that explains the skeletal discrepancy so I do agree with you. Her crisis maybe more severe. You'll need to prepare yourself for it Clint but this time it won't be just you involved. Kaitlyn and James will be as well but I don’t think it’s anything your big heart can’t handle.”
