[Liara]

“You guys could always go down to the beach at sunset. I don’t think you ever did that with mom.” Bella offered. “But I don’t think you really need my help Dad. Then again maybe you need Rommie’s since it looks like she’s been to the house. I remember when Mom got that dress.”

“You don’t-“

“No I don’t she’s not using it anymore and she only got it because the purple matched Dad’s gear. She thought he’d like it. It was more for him then her.”

[Clint Cross]

"I told her she could go through the big closet, I mean all that stuff that Admiral Angel dropped off for her after she lost the baby weight, it's good stuff, a shame that it's all just gathering dust." Clint replied. "And it's going to be a while before Kaitlyn fits into any of it, if ever... she may get my mom's genes and be tall and skinny."

[Liara]

"It's fine Dad. Mom would want you to give her stuff away if it would help someone. You're just giving it to well a version of her. Ya know I'm not going to think on it too hard." Bella said with a shake of her head. "I like the idea of saying she's what a sister? Your parents just had no imagination in the naming department."

"I suppose that works." Selene laughed.

[Clint Cross]

"Well..." Clint cleared his throat. "Tess had Natalia AND a Natasha... so y'know... no imagination and we're related to that through your grandpa. And I think both Selenes hate the idea of 'Selina'. So clearly they both know of Catwoman."

[Liara]

"We did toy with the idea of Liara but I've been Selene to everyone except my father since I was a child it would feel weird to go by anything else now." Selene said with a shrug.

[Clint Cross]

Clint nodded his head. "We'll have to come up with some new code names for you eventually." he shrugged his shoulders. "It'll happen that we'll stumble onto a name you like. By the way Bella, once my house is done, we're going to finish your place next. Mine's the test bed, they already screwed up the windows, I intend the place to be as much a fortress as this Compound. Maybe even similar in layout, you can navigate this place with your nose buried in a book or a padd, in high heels and with a kid in tow."

[Liara]

"Yeah and I could do the old place blind." Bella said with a look. "I'd like it to look the way it was with the upgrades of course or Eli will never let us move back. I would like to look out a real window some day."

[Clint Cross]

"Yeah that's why I wanted like six inch thick transparent aluminum. Twice as thick as what's used on starships going into battle. Bomb, grenade, tank proof y'know." Clint said and looked at Selene. "Like how we designed the apartment at Joe's."

[Liara]

"That apartment is bomb proof?" Selene inquired.

[Clint Cross]

"Whole bar is. Kinsey's idea, which we keep upgrading with each new threat. But yeah, pretty much. We wouldn't put high security, tactical intelligence under a rickety old bar and not take precautions. Do you know even the bar top can drop down and is phaser and small arms resistant? Not that we've ever really had a need to test it, but it's stood up to a four legged exotic dancer with metal tipped high heels dancing on it. And people trying to stick knives in it."
