Aimee sighed and slid the now sleeping babies into their stroller, "Thanks I guess. As far as Lana goes I can put her to work dispatching. I'm going to need to hire them anyway. Oh, you know, I am going to need warehousing and repair facilities. Preferably near the space port. Know anyone I can talk to?"

"You're talking to the daughter of Nick Ryder..." Olivia said as she pulled out a padd and tapped in a few things. "How many ships, how much space?" she slid it forward to her. "Clint didn't get... everything." she said with a smile. "I kept a few warehouse facilities and a couple smaller dry dock berths. None of Galaxy's ships are that big. I originally planned to let Kirby's family use them, but she said they didn't really need it. So... I wouldn't mind letting my best friend use them."

"The individual ship's engineers should be able to handle most repairs, but there's going to be a need for refits and overhauls not to mention the occasional major hull repairs. Access to two or three dry docks should do the trick. Space.... that's a bit tricky. I really don't know. I never accepted loads that would require warehousing, but we're a considerably larger operation now, and it's something that Galaxy offers. And we'll need a place for spare parts. Some of these ships are 200 years old or older. That means salvage for parts that can't be replicated. Say 25,000 to 50,000 square feet?"

"Who would have thought being Kirby's partner for most of my life would be useful..." Olivia raised an eyebrow. "Is this your subtle way of saying you need me to help you out? I dragged you around the Quadrant and had you watch me shake my ass, I suppose fair is fair. There is a roughly 100,000 square foot facility that was just built that I know dad was a bit annoyed by it's just sitting there. Could always rent out what you don't need. Commerce breeds commerce. Or I suppose I could ask SHIELD or NI if they need some space for whatever. I may not be getting more than my tiny reserve officer status pension, but they got the budget. I'm sure of that."

"I'll take it," Aimee replied. "I'm sure we can work out a lease agreement. Hey, you want a job? I could use a VP."

"I'll take it." Olivia said with a smile. "After all, we're mothers of small-ish children, have to make sure they're taken care of." she glanced at the twins. "Luckily I still have some of my old contacts in the shipping industry and import exports. Although I'm sure you realize most of those import/export companies are fronts but they do still operate as legit businesses, but sooo many are Intel agencies, mafia based or just pirates attempting to legitimize their piracy. Besides, I love working with you and it would be nice to actually help with finding people work that's a bit more honest. Our tours sort of reminded me that as great as the Alliance is with keeping people employed there's still a lot of fringers that don't exactly like any government just giving them shit. They want to work, so... we can make that happen. And not just space freight, but the ground freight and transporter tagging that makes sure what we get across the stars actually ends up where it's supposed to. Although what'd I tell you about when we found all those amplifiers, that far too many shipping companies would rather dump cargo than deal with it getting where it needed to go."

"Then let's prove the exception to the rule," Aimee said with a nod. "Most of my life all I've done was half measures. This second chance that I got from you... Well, it just feels right."

"Then I am proud to be a part of this." Olivia said with a broad smile. "Like I've always said, if you need me to back you up, I will be there and I will support you to the end. We also really need a good shipping company, given that I'm sure once Dominus and his brood are taken care of, there's going to be a lot of freight needing to be moved around. Either to rebuild or preserve and move things."

"There's always freight in need of moving," Aimee said. "Just like there's always a demand for live music."

"Exactly." Olivia said and took a sip of her coffee. "I'll help get the place set up, I've got a surplus furniture guy and a decorator that owe me big. It'll also be nice to be so close to AlphaTek Tower. Not that I'm still in the Intelligence game, but it would be helpful if I did need something. Besides, Aunt Natalia would have to ship with us instead of Aurabus. Never liked using them, they were cheap but I always got something damaged on the way in." she chuckled lightly. "By the way... don't look like you're looking but look over at 4 o'clock... there's a girl wearing your t-shirt. Told you they'd sell. I'm sure the other shipping companies will push back at us, 'what are those rockers doing running a freight company'? Little do they know... still, I'm sure we'd get contracts just because we're us. We do have fans, which is a nice feeling, more fans than enemies."
