We're in This Together

[Clint Cross]

"Exactly." Clint said and pointed at her with his knife. "And none of that is his either. Or any of this." he pointed back to himself. "They don't own anyone. It's kind of screwed up how many realities are like that. Since when did that kind of bullshit become the default on so many realities? Things get a little weird and bammo slavery is 'in' and it's time to start 'conquering' everything that isn't nailed down. Sometimes it's the Terrans, sometimes its the Romulans, sometimes the Klingon, sometimes the Cardassians. Sometimes even some races I've never heard of because they never were allowed to get into power..."

[Liara]

"Jackson was good with building alliances with races he thought would help solidify his power. I'm sure Dominus is the same and to hell with everyone else. If you didn't fall inline you were a slave. If you couldn't do that you were dead and I helped them do it." Selene said and stabbed at her steak. "I won't let that happen here."

[Clint Cross]

"Good." Clint said as he took a bite and swallowed. "Because I think you being on the team will certainly make that possible."

[Liara]

"Good." Selene said matter of fact. "When we're done enjoying ourselves we kill Dominus."

[Clint Cross]

"Sounds like a plan." Clint replied. "Remind people why we're registered deadly weapons."

[Liara]

"Agreed." Selene said coldly as she shoved a piece of steak in her mouth. "I'll be damned if Kaitlyn can't have her strawberry ice cream when ever the hell she feels like it."

[Clint Cross]

"With as many sprinkles as she wants!" Clint said as he raised his fork. "I know the Alliance sort of 'played nice' with him, but that was only so we had more time to plan and figure out how to eliminate his entire network, otherwise we'll just keep playing whack a mole with him and his goons. Although it IS fun to just keep picking off versions of an enemy one by one, but still... we'll get tired of killing Dominuses."

[Liara]

"I already killed one and I'm tired of him." Selene said angrily. "He's using his children as weapons and he should die for it."

[Clint Cross]

"Considering the twins they made... as rotten to the core as they are, that's one family I have no problem taking out. Other than the kid we met." Clint said took a sip of his drink. "Still can't get her out of my head."

[Liara]

“Me either.” Selene said taking a sip of her wine.
