[Liara]

“I killed him once before.” Selene stated as she took her bag of ice cream from the clerk. He gave her an odd look as if he was afraid of her but he wasn’t sure if it was because she could kill him or she was crazy.

[Khan Noonian Singh]

"I don't doubt that." Noonian replied and whispered. "We still have to be careful, he can travel between realities. Who knows who he has helping him." he glanced around as he took his bag of ice cream. "I love these containers they use, they keep it cold for a couple hours before it even starts to melt. So are you taking a transporter back to Clint's?"

[Liara]

“No I’ve got a car parked over by this steak house.” Selene said smiling a bit. “Have you tried it? Never had the real thing before today. Anyway...would you like a ride?”

[Khan Noonian Singh]

"I would love it actually." Noonian said as he gave her a smile. "There's quite a few good steak places around. I'll have to take you to this one Indian restaurant one of my friends opened, he's about our age actually, one of my original cryo pod followers. He was born into a low Caste and his big dream was to own a fancy restaurant, the kind that he wouldn't even be allowed to clean the dishes in. Took him a while, but he finally did it. Aryan's it's on 58th just near the outer edge of the Capitol City. I'll take you sometime."

"Aryan... you mean the bloody idiot that set our cyro pods to not open for decades longer than they should have?" a voice said from the doorway. "How sweet... ice cream with faux daddy. What next... a trip to the playground? I always knew you were weak Abigail."

[Liara]

Selene froze at the sound of her father’s voice coming from the doorway behind her. He shouldn’t be there they said he’d died in the explosion. She’d made sure he’s shuttle would explode when he was far enough away for a beam out. He couldn’t be there. He couldn’t.

Yet even as she slowly turned to face him, she knew it was him. The way he said her name with mix of distain and disappointment. No one else could say it quite the way he could, and she hated the way he said it.

“Father.” Selene said trying to keep the fear from her voice but she was terrified.

[Khan Noonian Singh]

"Father' right. After you blew up my damn ship." Khan said as he glared at her. "And then you come to this weak reality... no wonder why Dominus wishes to destroy all of this, So decadent." he looked at Noonian. "And you... such a waste of a good despot. You could be ruling this planet with an iron hand and you're in khaki's. Fucking. Khakis."

"At least I'm comfortable in this sun. I'm not a slave to fashion." Noonian replied.

"Ah, comfort. That is all anyone on this... pleasure planet cares about." Khan said as he walked closer to Selene."I should have wiped your mind after each mission."

Noonian balled up his fist and hit Khan in the face. "You talk too much." he slammed him against the wall and looked into his eyes. "You also screwed with the wrong reality."

"Now there's the Khan Singh..." Khan said as he hit him back and pushed him to the floor. "Abigail... or Selene or whatever stupid name you chose... kill this copy." he put his foot on Noonian's chest and pulled his arm.

"You are your own woman Selene... don't listen to this asshole." Noonian replied and blinked a couple of times. "Why don't you do it? Look me in the eye and do it... or do you need a child to do your dirty work?" he waited for Khan to look at him and reply and in a blinding flash of light hit him with a magnesium flare from his contact lenses.

Kicking Khan against some chairs he got to his feet and stood in front of Selene protectively. "Magnesium flares in a contact lens... non lethal defense tech. Wish you thought of it eh?"

[Liara]

The flash of light snapped Selene out of the shock she was in. Her head turned just enough to catch a glimpse of the store clerk running out of the front of the store past her father.

“I’m not going to kill him.” She said stepping closer to Noonian. “Neither are you. Jackson sent you didn’t he?”

[Khan Noonian Singh]

"There was a reason why I sent you to him, he's far more intelligent than you." Khan said with a snarl as he rubbed his eyes to try and get his vision back.

"No wonder why she hates you... here for all of two minutes and you've insulted her a half dozen times." Noonian said.

"For what she lacks in brains she makes up in other attributes." Khan chuckled and unsheathed a knife and threw it at Noonian, which he caught with one hand and flipped it around.

"Let's go motherfucker." Noonian spat

[Liara]

Selene grabbed Noonian’s arm, fear in her eyes.

“If you fight him kill him. He won’t give you quarter.” Selene said. “You don’t have to fight for me Noonian. You have a family. You can walk away.”

[Khan Noonian Singh]

"I don't think I can." Noonian said as he kept his eyes on Khan. "He's going to go after them once he's gone through us."

"You're right... " Khan said as he gave him a vicious look. "Last chance Abigail... come here this instant or share his fate."

"She's her own woman, she can make up her own mind." Noonian spat back and made sure that the civilians were all out before he lunged at him and started to grapple with him. The two mirror images of each other fought violently, each drawing blood from their strikes. Each getting inches from killing the other.

"And yet... you still hold... back." Khan said as he pushed Noonian's face into ice cream case. "You want to be with her... fine." he let him go and threw a spiked ball at the wall. "Abigail! This is how you blow someone up..."
