Temp Fix

[Liara]

Her cheeks warmed and she looked away. It wasn’t the first time someone commented on her beauty but it was the first time someone actually meant it. Meant it beyond trying to just get in her pants. Clint saying it actually made her feel something.

[Clint Cross]

Clint glanced at the personal transporter as they were beamed to the lobby of the hotel. The concierge was standing in front of the desk with a key and a basket.

"Ah, Mr. Cross, Miss Lanara." he said and handed her the basket. "We upgraded your suite, our servers crashed just a little while ago and it's taking some time to reboot everything, so you'll get one of our honeymoon suites, full private beach access, complimentary room service and a couple's massage. While clothing IS optional here, we do ask that you at least cover the lower extremities in the dining room and bar, if you choose to go there. Health department." he shrugged his shoulders.

"I hear ya there..." Clint nodded his head.

"Need anything at all, just ask. Trust me, we've seen everything and if anyone gets too... voyeuristic, inform us and we'll take care of it. I know you master assassin types like to handle things yourselves, but blood is very hard to get out of the carpet and walls."

[Liara]

“You’re not doing it right.” Selene said seriously and then sighed. “You were joking. Sorry it’s been a long day.”

[Clint Cross]

"Quite alright... that's what we're here for. " He said and cocked his head slightly. "Besides, the entire staff are Androids."

"Dr. Soong has another resort, this is one of his new hotels isn't it?" Clint nodded his head. "I thought something was different from the last time I came here."

"He retained some of the original staff, but there are probably more Androids than biologic here. So, even the surliest guest isn't a problem. We're dedicated to ensuring your relaxation and comfort and well... being a pleasurable place for you to let down your guard." he said as he gestured to the large windows. "I'll leave you two to get settled, Your suite has a simply amazing view of the sunset."

"Oh and send up a tub of strawberries and some strawberry ice cream... and moscato." Clint said with a smile as he picked up their bags again.

"They'll be ready and waiting for you. Enjoy your stay." he said and waved as they were beamed to their balcony.

"He wasn't kidding... look at that. Almost as stunning as a certain red head I'm looking at." Clint said as he looked at the sunset and then back at Selene. "I'm getting sappy again aren't I?"

[Liara]

“I don’t mind.” Selene said looking out at the sun setting over the ocean.

[Clint Cross]

Clint smiled as he pulled off his tactical uniform. "I keep forgetting this part of New Honolulu is an hour or two ahead of the Capitol, sun sets sooner here than there. Which could be why Admiral Ryder got so pissy when I'd comm her in the evening." he chuckled and cocked his head at Selene. "Now I wish I had a camera."

[Liara]

“Somethings you’ll just have to commit to memory.” Selene said with a smirk as she stepped back inside. She placed the basket on a table and walked back over to the balcony. “It is a beautiful sunset. I’ve never really seen anything like it.”

[Clint Cross]

"So you've never just watched a sunset?" Clint shook his head. "Well, we're definitely going to have to make up for lost time. And yeah this'll be burned into my memory. Still, look in the mirror... you're a damn vision."

[Liara]

Selene slipped her arms around his neck and kissed him deeply.

“You’re the only person I believe that from.” Selene said smiling again his lips. “Maybe Rommie packed you a camera.”

[Clint Cross]

"Let's hope... I really do want to remember this trip." Clint said as he held her close. "I kind of want you to forget about most of today and focus on the bright end spot... which is kind of our life... there's the dark, nasty shit and then... we strip out of the work clothes and it's just us. You and Selene were always too good for a mook like me, but I thank whoever's up there for making it work with us."
