“I’m sure destroying entire worlds will endear me greatly to Ryder. The second he finds out I’m alive he’ll open his arms and forgive everything I’ve done.” Kinsey laughed and then her voice turned cold. There was a savage look in her eye. “I don’t have to explain my reasons to you Bellatrix. I’m going to blow up that planet and we’re going to go our separate ways. I suggest you keep your fleets out of whatever bit of space we pick out for ourselves.”

Bellatrix waved a dismissive hand, "Intel from you is likely useless from a liar, but you have a point there. You are likely no a spy for Ryder, but that doesn't mean they won't forgive you and welcome you with open arms. Just like they did for Julie Lei."

Bellatrix called her a liar and compared her to Julie Lei if she and Jack weren’t biding their time she’d crush the bitch into a tiny ball already. Instead she bit her tongue and let it go, for once.

“Yes, well now that we’ve settled that. I believe we have work to do is that right Dominus?” Kinsey inquired, changing the subject.

Bellatrix sighed, and crossed the bridge and with the ijulna forcibly removed the man sitting at the sensor station and sat down. The Alliance was out there, but who and how many. She was blind and she didn't like the feeling of the crosshairs on her back.

"Yes, we are in position and ready when you are Kinsey." Dominus replied and gave Bellatrix a slightly amused expression before turning back to the main screen. "The Brethren will soon be an endangered species and no longer a threat to us or our other world. Now that we surpass their abilities."

Jack took his position near the rear of the bridge in a corner that allowed him to focus a bit more clearly. "I am ready as well Kinsey." he said. He knew that Bellatrix was correct, they were entirely planning to do something. They were loyal only as far as their deal. Although a part of him knew that they knew as well that both sides were going to screw the other over. Although he had a feeling that they wouldn't have too much time to defend themselves after the last planet was ash.

Clearing her mind Kinsey walked to the center of the command deck and faced the view screen. It was effortless now to let everything fade away and focus only on that one point. She closed her eyes and shaped the planet in her hands and pulled.

The surface of the planet cracked and crumbled under the invisible force of her power. The inhabitants trying to flee as the ground gave way. They couldn’t escape the fires that enveloped everything as the planet split in two.

There was a sadistic grin on Kinsey’s lips as she opened her eyes and looked at the remains of the planet on the view screen. The last Brethren planet in the system was destroyed and she’d done this to them. She’d made them suffer. Made them pay for the what they’d done. It felt good really good.

"And... the population of that planet has been reduced to approximately... zero. Oh... wait... there are a few in shuttles trying to escape." Jack closed his eyes as he 'suggested' they turn back and were caught in the explosions. "There... now the only Brethren left are the ones on the base ship and their own vessels out there. Really should take care of that before they realize they're last of their kind." he smirked slightly. "I hope your Acolytes are more than just cannon fodder Lady Bellatrix. The ones we've encountered couldn't even heat up tea."

“We could do that for you.” Kinsey offered as she walked over to Dominus. “They’ve been on edge or you could have your interns are Ophelia calls them do it. We don’t really care.”

"I wouldn't do that just yet," Bellatrix replied without looking up from the screen... There you are.. She brought the sensor datat up on the viewscreen. A barely perceptible blip in radiation so small a standard sensor sweep would miss it, and it was travelingat warp. "The Alliance. At least one ship, possibly three or more."

~We need to go.~ Kinsey said sent to Jack.

“Three…cloaked ships judging by your sensor readings.” Kinsey said as she looked over the data and chuckled softly. “Cross. Well Ophelia did kill his wife, but I would say this would be more of a recon run then an engagement.”
