Bellatrix clicked her tongue, "Such rudeness. And, to think I have treated you with the upmost of graciousness. I wouldn't hurt her. Cruelty for the sake of cruelty is... well, gratuitous. Welcome to the I.S.S. Vindicator, former flagship of the Ajem'dasis Empire."

Donovan entered the cell looking suspiciously around, "Show some respect!"

"Oh Kat, relax. They are just stressed out. I'd be tasty too if I were them."

"Damn right we're testy... " Teri said and put her hands on her hips. "Ajem'dasis Empire? I may be new around here... but that doesn't sound like a thing here." she looked at the other woman that came in. "And the 'utmost of graciousness' would have been not blowing up the ship we were on or putting us all in a brig!"

[Bellatrix]

"No, I am not from around here, and neither are you. I needed help to exact my revenge. No, you aren't my revenge, but payment to my ally. It is regrettable that you should befall this fate, but the ends will justify the means."

[Tereska Kellow]

"So if we're just payment... then who are we just 'things' to then?" Teri said and shook her head. "Revenge doesn't solve anything really."

[Magus Stormtalon]

"You wish to ransom us," Magus stated. "It is a very old Narlin custom. An enemy king has more value than a dead king."

Bellatrix shrugged, "I cannot say what Dominus wanted. I am only doing as requested." She cupped Tereska's chin in a gloved hand, "As far as revenge goes this goes much deeper than that. Once I kill the treasonous Julie Lei, her concubine Clint Cross, and her mother-in-law..." She grinned maniacally, "I have already taken care of her husband. My only regret is that I killed Nicholas Ryder too quickly. An error I do not intend to repeat. Though, we are all susceptible of being sentimental from time to time no? Any way once those treasonous scum have seen the error in their ways, I will have my empire back."

[Tereska Kellow]

"Wait a second... you're talking about people in another reality. Clint Cross here is married. He's the father of the current First Lady. He gave me a briefing when I came to the Compound. He's not Julie Lei's concubine... although technically wouldn't a male make him more like a paramour or something and the way everyone talks about her, they practically spit at her name." Teri said as she straightened up. "And Nicholas Ryder is still alive... well, as of yesterday or this morning or whatever, we were chatting over comms before I went to bed and then I woke up here."

[Bellatrix]

"Of course I'm from another reality! Seriously how do you have two geniuses for children with that towering of an intellectual?"

[Tereska Kellow]

"So... what use do we have to you in that goal? The Julie Lei I've heard about is pretty much a reclusive that spends most of her time in a bottle or in a bed." Teri said and crossed her arms. "And I doubt anyone would seem to care too much about her continued existence... her own children barely acknowledge her. Course how a woman like her married a man like Tess's son... but... a pretty girl and a lonely man make an easy combination." she looked at Bellatrix. "I wish I knew half of these people like everyone thinks I should know. Only weeks ago I was still getting used to the USS San Lucas. I barely have my doctorate yet. Although I don't need it to tell you have some serious issues... if you want to talk about it... I've been told i'm a wonderful counselor."

[Bellatrix]

She shrugged, "To me you are nothing, but to others everything. And I need that... gratitude so that I have allies of my own to help me retake my empire. It is regrettable that you should be caught up in the affairs of a reality that isn't even your own my dear. You were always so good to me. It is unfortunate that I must kill your counterpart, and turn you over to your enemies."

"What did she ever do? She runs a hospital? Unless you're speaking of yet another reality's version of myself in which case..." Teri cocked her head to the side and looked her in the eyes. "You think maybe we'd be willing to help you find them? All you're going to do is incur the wrath of the rest of the Ryder family which, from what I've gathered is massive and powerful and well liked. Look... I have no idea who you are but clearly you were close with a version of me, which I am still wrapping my head around but after what I've seen I'm learning not to question everything because it'll just result in a killer migraine." she glanced at the Narlins. "Do you really want the Narlin Empire and the Alliance hunting you? You may have an Empire where you're from, but you're not there. You're here. And if there is a really bad version of these people hiding in this reality... maybe the 'good guys' would actually help you."
