[Liara]

“I got caught up in security too.” Selene said with a shrug. “Sure as long as they don’t all scream like little girls.”

[Clint Cross]

"Who screamed like a little girl... no... don't tell me you hit security in the balls..." Clint chuckled.

[Liara]

She grinned as she pointed to JT.

“I didn’t harm your security I simply told them how much I don’t like being late. Apparently, Agent Cross and I shared that same dislike.” Selene finally said with a roll of her eyes.

[JT Kirk]

"Oh she's going to fit in just perfect here..." JT said with a smirk. "She's already got the 'tease JT mercilessly' thing going too. You know I do kinda outrank all of you."

"Not down here... here your wife outranks you." Clint said with a smirk. "Isn't that right Mackenzie?"

[Mac Calhoun]

“Oh this is true.” Mac said with a smirk. “Now come on let’s go find seats Captain and some aspirin. Clint’s going to give me a headache.”

[Clint Cross]

"Oh really?" Clint said with a smirk.

"I always have aspirin handy." JT said as he reached into his inner jacket pocket. "How long have we been together? I do notice things."

"Otherwise he'd be utterly useless here and we'd let the XDF take him back." Clint teased. "Selene Lanara... Mackenzie Calhoun Kirk, the other Hawkeye." he said as he gestured to them. "Selene is going to be joining the team here. Lyashev won't have to do double duty."

"Aww, I was looking forward to being the new Black Widow." Val said with a smirk. "Hey Clint... this must be her. Wow, she really does look like our Selene. Hope she fights like her." she extended her hand to Selene. "Valerya Lyashev. I'm one of your father's 90s era Augments, before all of us got put into pods and shot into space. Except in this reality I wasn't woken up until about 20 years ago when they found me on the moon. We used to play together, I was probably three or four. Back when you were Abigail."

"She killed her reality's Noonian." Clint winced.

"He probably deserved it." Val replied. "I like this version that we've got, he's actually decent... ish. Don't kill this one, huh?"

[Liara]

"As long as you never call me Abigail." Selene said coldly.

[Valeriya Lyashev]

"Deal... you don't look like an Abigail anyway." Val said with a wink of her eye. "Although I do rather miss the old Natasha persona that Selene adopted once in a while, one of the few people I could speak Russian to. Full disclosure, my parents were old KGB that had me sent to Khan's group to grow up as a sleeper agent, well... that worked." she laughed. "Love being the product of failed regimes."

[Liara]

"Good and I do know Russian but I hate speaking it." Selene replied matter of fact. "Ballet instructor insist we speak it. Most pointless thing I ever learned during my training."

[Valeriya Lyashev]

"Except the ballet of course." Val said and put her hands on her hips. "So you think Russian is annoying huh? I'll have to write all my messages to you in Russian. I really don't mind poking the bear. Makes you feel alive."

"Alright.. let's get this meeting over with. Everyone into the briefing room." Clint said as he lead everyone out of his office. The rest of the team was waiting and were more than a little shocked to see Selene walk in.

"Yes, yes... the male to female ratio is finally back in balance." Val said as she took a seat.

"Well, I always tried to keep Naval Intel from being a total sausage fest." Olivia said as she walked over to Selene. "I had to see this for myself. Olivia Ryder, former director of Naval Intel... currently retired... but my wife still works for Alpha Section and I share intel I gather on our gigs..." she held up a padd. "Thought you two might want to see this." she handed it to Clint. "Looks like I have another uncle around, the Scions have him. Apparently my... mother came to Aunt Becca and Aunt Arisu when they were on Monastary. Told them to look for him, well, the Ajem'dasis sensed something about and are currently keeping him under guard downtown. Thought my old agency would want dibs. Bunch of amped up goons, but no Iljuna users so shouldn't be too hard for Black Widow and Hawkeye... male or female flavor."

"Female Flavor Hawkeye... that's kinda funny." Val winked to Mac
