"Never imagined grandchildren, let alone four of them." Tali said and looked at Jack. "It's interesting how many realities a version of him is attracted to a version of you. Still, the particular version of intelligence, compassion and virility you got... that's incredibly rare." she cocked her head slightly. "I hope you don't hold it against me if I try to date. Few can compare with your father, but I'm not that old. Your great-grandmother was well over two hundred when she finally took her final desert walk. Come to think of it... you look younger than you should, even given my ever youthful genetics."

Kinsey shrugged, “this body isn’t exactly my original. The other one went through a lot more. And it’s a long story.”

"Well, you certainly wear it well." Tali said and rested her head against the smooth rock surface of the cave. "I feel like I have an entire lifetime to live again. But it will be interesting to see another planet, for as many timelines I've lived in, I never got off world. Got close a few times. Never actually left the system."

[Ezekiel Ryder]

Ezekiel glanced at the center console on his heavy shuttle. "I've been waiting for an excuse to try these new sand resistant shuttle mods. R&D keeps complaining I don't field test enough."

"That's because you tend to break things you field test." the younger Zeke said over the comms. "Finds the flaws. But there won't be. I hope."

"You hope. Filling me with tons of confidence there 'bro'." Ezekiel replied and glanced at Kiera. "Nice of your Kiera to volunteer to help though."

"Bring her back in one piece... or your's is going to kick both our asses." Zeke said and chuckled. "XDF Command out."

"I don't recall being that protective of you when I was that age... course, I didn't get you pregnant at your age either." Ezekiel said and cleared his throat. "What happened to waiting until next year?"

“I’m running a planet it was time we took time for ourselves and sometimes children are a result.” Kiera said with a shrug. “And it felt right.”

[Ezekiel Ryder]

"Eh, can't say I blame either of you... " he replied with a smirk. "How'd Uncle Jack take the news? Freak out or chill? I mean you ARE still his 'little girl', first kid he really raised."

Kiera bit her lower lip.

“Well...I kind of haven’t told him.”

"Well he's perceptive, might have figured it out... although you're still in trouble for eloping with barely telling him. Hell so am I." Ezekiel said with a nervous chuckle. "I don't know why we're so nervous to tell him things, he's usually pretty chill about most everything."

“Where you nervous when you told him about Joesph?” Kiera inquired in a soft voice. She felt miles away from the leader she had turned into. Suddenly, dealing with the threat of Dominus, the Brethren, and the internal squabbles was more appealing then tell Jack. They weren’t even 18 yet and she knew humans got caught up in such things as age.

"Yes and no... I was more worried he'd overly dote on Kiera." Ezekiel replied. "But seriously... tell him. You know how he was when you guys and Mac and JT got married. At least Jason and Kassie had a plan. Although between you me and the shuttle, Kassie's mom and Olivia's older son are eloping."
