"True..." Tali nodded her head. "Just thought i'd offer." she glanced at the map on the dash board. "We'll be at Tess's in about 15 minutes. At least the way I drive." she said as she sped back onto the highway. "I am pretty sure the minute you walk in and give your name, she'll come down. She seems like that kind of person."

"Well that and I'm suppose to be dead." Selene said with a shrug.

The procedure had been completed. The small mass of tissue removed from Bellatrix's womb only a few hours previously was now inside an advanced incubator.

Growth artificially accelerated, in just a few short hours the mass gone from an unrecognizable blob to a pink infant with tufts of straw yellow hair of approximately 35 weeks gestational. She lay on her back with her eyes still closed, tiny fists pumping in the air.

Bellatrix stood silently with her arms crossed before her staring down at the child contained within the plexiglass box. A medical hologram busied himself with taking readings.

Ian approached with his arms behind his back. There was an amused look on his face as he stared down at his sister. "I see you have made another child mother."

Bellatrix didn't look at her son, "Yes."

"I'm not sure it's wise to mock the ijulna like this," he said cautiously.

Bellatrix waved a dismissive, "You act as if the ijulna is conscious of what we do. No, it is nothing more than a force that we bend to our will."

"For all our souls I hope you are right, and the Jase'dasis are wrong."

"Of course they're wrong. The Jase'dasis are no better than the Catholic church with their vague superstitions, and false piety. I look forward to wiping them off the face of this galaxy."

Ian smiled, "Me too mother. The only thing I hate more than their stupid religion is their smug attitude. Can I ask you something?"

"You just did."

Ian sighed and, continued on unabated, "Do you love us?"

Bellatrix hesitated for a moment, "No. I wish I did, but that's an emotionI fear I do not possess."

Ian sighed, "I thought as much, but I understand. It's part of what makes you so great. I suppose father has enough for both of you."

Bellatrix smirked, "Getting him to focus his hate on something productive can be a full time job."

"So, my sister. What do we call her?"

Bellatrix thought for a moment, "Your grandmother was Irish. I think Órlaith. It's Irish meaning golden princess. I don't know if we are going to use titles like that, but you and your sisters are essentially prince, and princesses, and she for some reason she came out blonde."

Ian smiled, "I like it. So, are you going to raise her like a normal child or use the time dilation chamber?"

"I think. No, I am not the mother type. She'll go into the chamber. We need more trained Ajem'dasis anyway."

Ian simply nodded.
