"I'll admit, I'd almost rather get acclimated to this timeline there than with my counterpart and her massive family... I haven't even slept with anyone... in the biblical sense." she blushed slightly. "And it does make sense, I won't need too much to finish up, but if I'm re-learning a few things, makes sense to re-learn with some of the Alliance's closest allies. Beyond the Romulans. That still freaks me out. I was actually running from a Romulan ship that broke the borders when I hit that rift and ended up being captured. Now they're allies and from what I heard the first VP was a Romulan? Amazing... Cardassians are sorta allies. Klingons... well, I always knew that we'd be on opposite sides, alliances with them always seem to change with the regime."

Magus smiled, "We live in a brave new world. Most find it better than when and where they came from. We have a veteran of the Romulan Wars, others from the future, and alternate timelines. We're a melting pot. But, I know what you mean. Friendly therms with the Cardassians?" He laughed, "Narlins and Cardassians are like cats and dogs... but we have put away our differences. I think you can as well." He shrugged, "Though, not all Romulans are friends. The Star Empire and the Alliance are at odds. We have to protect Romulan Republic borders regularly."

"I see... well I am very much considering going with then." Teri said with a nod of her head. "I'm kind of not looking forward to competing with myself... or being compared to her while I'm still learning this century. It was just barely the 24th Century when I left! I'm shocked I'm still alive in this era..."

"I do not envy your position," Magus replied. "If you don't come to school, come to Talaria anyway. You will stay with us, and can be bored with us during official ceremonies."
