"No need to search. They keep mom's old quarters empty for her in case she visits. Or we can track Cece down and take care of business at the house."

"You've been living without me for six months... I can only imagine what our bedroom looks like." Trinity kissed him again. "Although maybe that one new hotel downtown... I don't think the boys need to hear me." she pecked his nose.

"Honestly, I've been sleeping in the office most nights. David and Ms. Ackers have been running the ranch. Trust me the old biddy wouldn't allow such a mess."

[Trinity Talon]

"That's a good point... and no wonder why I'm smelling Kalia's perfume on your uniform." Trinity teased him. "Relax, I'm not being jealous, actually... kind of glad she helped out. Some of the men expect to be bossed around by a short Asian woman, and we do have that Lei family resemblance. Although if she's rearranged my office... I'm killing her." she pulled him close and looked into his eyes. "I... almost didn't think I'd ever see you again. There were quite a few moments that I thought 'this is it, Ethan's going to be a widower'. Kat trained me, helped me defend myself. But six months on Bellatrix's ship... just don't press too much about what happened there."

"I won't," he said sincerely. "I know all to well. You have to do things to survive.... if you don't either they kill you, or you die by your own hand. Not too many of us walking around here that can fathom what it's like to be a prisoner of war. I'm here for you if you need to talk. You can always talk to mom too if you want. She was a prisoner of the Cardassians during C.O.B.R.A. war. On a more lighter note. You have a new niece and nephew. Olivia Marie, and Jonathan something I forget."

"Wow... heh... Grandpa owes me that little purple motorcycle." Trinity laughed. "I told him 'I bet Aimee names one of her twins after Aunt Liv. He didn't think she would be that on the nose. If she gave her Olivia's name as a first name, he owed me that bike, if it was anything else, I would give him Pinky. Hardly a bet since I only drive her when I'm in the Capital, BUT she was the first car I got when we came to this era." she sighed happily and held his hand as they walked out of the transporter room. "So uhm... do I still have a job or did you find someone to replace me full time? Or let me put it this way... am I even allowed to resume?"

"I did not. There's no replacing you," he said. "Though, Dougal and Kahlia did better then expected. You know, Dougal's dating my sister now. Not sure how I feel about that one."

[Trinity Talon]

"That's... I'm not sure how I feel about that either." Trinity tapped her cheek. "Interesting though. Dougal is kinda cute. So... do you think Kalia and Dougal would mind keeping my seat warm for oh... a little while longer? I'll bet mom has been plotting to keep me out of that chair too huh? Protective mother hen... just like back home."

"I don't know... I think she wants to, but also knows you need your space and is forcing herself to keep her distance. On that note mom is living with her, so between her, Kim, and our younger selves... well, I assume she's sufficiently distracted."

[Trinity Talon]

"That's good... " Trinity said with a smile. "Y'know... it's playing into a vision that I had. Saw our moms together. Actually sane. I always wondered why mom became psycho over protective bitchy and just plain mean. She's too nice to be the big bad battle Admiral." she put her arm around Ethan's back. "So lover... just to put your mind at ease, I may have a red kilden but I'm not Ajem'dasis. Although I can't avoid that part of me. I... really can use the iljuna, actually pretty good at using it. And Kat... she was a hard master to work under, couldn't understand her half the time and she kicked my ass more ways than I knew an ass could be kicked, but... she's not like the one that killed Becca the other year, or all those Marines and DoD staffers. She HAS killed and she's not a good woman, in the past at least... but... " she sighed heavily. "But she's trying to change. She deserves that."
