It Ain't Easy...

"Same to you Kinsey!" Kirby said with a smile and approached her. "We kept your hubby safe. Never knew you could turn people into meaty basketballs. Must have been losing my touch."

[Kinsey Calhoun]

She shrugged, “I’m full of surprises. Where’s Jack?”

[Black ANGEL Alpha]

"Right... down there." Kirby pointed to an access panel. "Hey... lover boy... your Kinsey is here."

"I know... have her reach a hand down, I need her slender fingers." Jack called out. "I can't get the release switch, hand's too big. Bloody octopai must have installed it."

[Livvy Sandoval]

"What can I do Jack?" Livvy asked her eyes wide. Her heart was pounding so hard you could see the veins in her neck pulsating.

[Jack Ryder]

"Just bloody stay alive!" Jack snapped back. "We're going to get you back to the future... hopefully. There are getting to be quite a number of future children here. Especially since it was an accident." he said and looked up through the hatch and smiled. "Kinsey... you are a sight for sore eyes. Squeeze down here, I need you to get your hand into that access panel, push it in and then pull it out and turn it to the right. Your hands are just a tiny bit smaller yet strong enough to give it the twist it needs."

[Ashley Walker]

Sighing Ashley went to the end of the corridor, and peered around it. "Jesus H. Roosevelt Christ! Uh chaps... how much longer on that hatch? We got company."

[Jack Ryder]

"Hold them off a few moments longer!" Jack shouted as he pulled Kinsey down into the hatch. "Lost weight luv?" he raised an eyebrow.

[Ashley Walker]

Ashley didn't say anything, and just started firing wildly. She wasn't aiming, but they were bunched up several webt down under the first volley, which slowed them. They were goons, not soldiers and they did the exact wrong thing by scattering and trying to take cover in a coverless corridor.

[Kinsey Calhoun]

“With armor I’m surprised you could tell.” Kinsey said as she pulled off her helmet and tossed it aside. Leaning in she pressed her lips to his and kissed him deeply.

“I missed you.” She whispered against his lips. She pulled away removing her gloves. “You said turn it to the right right?”

[Jack Ryder]

"Yes... yes.. to the right." Jack said as he recollected his thoughts after that kiss. If there was one thing that he was entirely certain of, it was that for as long as he knew her, Kinsey Calhoun's lips always made his brain short circuit for a moment. He looked at the display and saw the indicator flash green. "There! You got it. Alright, let's finish this up." he said and looked into her eyes. "I have to say luv... you do the action heroine role really well..."
