[Rebecca Talon]

Rebecca threw her kliden. It made a swirling arc slicing into a goon. With her left hand she used the ijulna to toss another into the air twenty meters. He fell to the earth with a scream of pain as bones snapped.

She somersaulted and with an outstretched right hand the kliden snapped back into her hand. "Ironic thing Dominus," she dodged a phaser and ripped it from a goon's hand. "I was I favor of leaving you alone."

Dominus chuckled as he looked at her. "Ah Rebecca... so trusting... you were that trusting when my Olivia took your head when you tried to defy me in my reality."

"What are you really after Dingus?" Nick said as he stood side by side with Becca, kilden ignited and in a posture ready for a fight. "Try to kill us? Capture us? Been there done that and we still escaped you."

"One call and I can have Brethren soldiers descend on your Capitol City." Dominus threatened. "I'm keeping the Pythus Sector, any of your people go inside, they belong to me. And I'm taking one of your people... you can decide which goes with me." he looked everyone gathered. "Who can you afford to lose?"

"Or we could just end your sorry life and go out for milkshakes." Nick countered. "Kinsey can reduce you to the size and consistency of a grape."

"Then you'll have doomed your planet. I have a planet killer ship waiting, they don't get my call, they attack. And that dark future your grandchildren came from will come true." Dominus said calmly. "I'll turn this planet into the dark ages and I'll turn your wife and your best friend there into my newest breeders. Or I'll just kill them and let you watch as I turn their minds into jelly."

"Bloody hell... I'll go with you." Jack said as he threw his weapon down. "Just end this... macho cock wagging bullshit. You're the same man, your dicks are the same size."

"Jack... stay out of this." Nick put his hand up and stepped in front of him.

"Dad, I'm not a child and I know what I'm doin'." Jack said as he glanced around him and saw the number of Dominus troops increase. Last thing he wanted was for Kinsey to offer to go or Selene or even Clint or worse, his father. He just hoped that his emergency plans would work well enough wherever he'd be taken.

“Jack you can’t.” Kinsey said as she reached for his hand. Dominus was abusive to his own son she could imagine what he would do to Jack. She wouldn’t let him go there had to be another way.

Rebecca tossed her kliden into the grass. He eyes narrow slits, "No, I'll go."

"Not on your life. He'd just kill you for fun." Jack said as he shook his head. "Kinsey... trust me." ~ I have an ace in the hole dear... but do not let Talon be taken. Just... let this happen. Make it 'look' like you're trying to stop me.~

"I have already lived a long life," Rebecca said. "Besides I don't think he will want to kill me. Probably make me wish I was." She shrugged, "Besides, I have lived longer than I should have."

[Dominus]

"But I don't want you... I want the telepath." Dominus said as he raised his hand and his troops surrounded him. "You'd probably make trouble for me. Jack knows that if he isn't a good boy... I'll make his family suffer."

Rebecca growled, and her ears burned with rage. It took everything in her to fight the urge to use the ijulna to choke Dominus. It wasn't the Jase'dasis way. Instead she reached out with her right, and the kliden snapped into her hand. "You have won today. You may even win tomorrow, but you won't win this war. And yes, my friend, you have declared war on the Alliance today. "

“Please don’t do this.” Kinsey pleaded as a tear slid down her cheek.

She was still worried about Jack and what Dominus would do to him or make him do. The idea frightened her and she wished it was her going just to spare him and his soul.
