"From what I recall, they were mostly female. Fred never quite liked them, a bit too militant for him. As if Ajem are conservative and meek." Victoria said as she poured herself a glass of sweet tea. "I am thinking we should get you a disguise when you travel with me, nothing crazy, just something to conceal your true identity. You can't obscure minds like I can."

"I don't know. I've been told I am very difficult to read," She shrugged. "Seems to me an Ajem cloak and hood would raise the least amount of questions. I would think people would expect that from an Ajem Master."

"Cloaks with hoods pulled over your face usually work quite well." Victoria said as she used the iljuna to pull her cloak toward her and put it on. "Plus you can be completely naked and still be entirely intimidating. Of course, you have got a hell of a body Miz Porter. Like someone sculpted you by hand. We really should train together more often... there is a lot I think you could do, even without a strong connection to the Iljuna. I wouldn't call you my apprentice because that would almost belittle what you are to me." she looked out the window. "Jase and Ajem aren't supposed to have attachments, for the Jase it's to keep themselves 'pure' even though there are quite a few who are greatly attached to people and the Ajem it's to avoid being manipulated. We do the manipulation no one else. I do consider you more of a partner." she pulled the hood down and used the iljuna to put the cloak back on its hook in the closet. "I don't mind keeping this secretive, makes it far more pleasurable when we come together. And yet... a part of me wants to be open. We're powerful women. Both of us can crush lesser men and women in our own ways. We're ruthless and we don't take crap from anyone. Yet we both can put this air of the gentile Southern Belle. The proper lady. When we are so not proper ladies at all. I am scandalized at what you know how to do to a woman's body. Surely did not get THOSE skills from finishin' school darlin'."

"Actually I did. Elizabeth Summers. We were the only two lesbians in our school. Let's just say the second floor girls washroom was our favorite during 3rd Period gym."

"If you baked a cake, I would appear on the news entirely in the nude with a son bonnet." Victoria laughed and laid across the bed. "I'll be entirely honest... it wasn't until Fred and I were married that I actually wore clothes to bed. He thought it was unseemly, I grew up sleeping in the nude, of course hot Southern nights it was the only way to be comfortable. That's why you invest in good sheets. And discreet house staff." she looked at Abby. "My housekeeper already considers you a Mistress of the House... and not in a tongue and cheek kind of way."

"Seriously though... I like when you make yourself at home here. It's a big house for one person." Victoria said with a laugh as she wiggled at being poked. "And we did spend an exorbitant amount of money on a wardrobe and office for you. Which I am hoping you won't write off as a campaign contribution."
