"Sounds like a solid plan Kinsey." Jon said and cleared his throat. "And I do hope you didn't forget to bring the home brew order we made. I'm anxious to try that new batch you and Jack made. I've replaced my usual ale as my spirit of choice." he patted his leg. "And it seems to help numb the pain in my legs."

"Just don't drink too much or you'll numb more than that." Cece said with a wink and gave her mother an impromptu hug. "I have needed to do that for days. You look much... happier than usual. Even your hair looks and smells nice. Oh and the me you met, that was me from last year. I almost entirely forgot I went there."

"You time travelers... bloody headache generators the lot of you." Jon teased. "Eh, I love you all just the same. Seriously. You ladies are family. Even you Lady Windrunner."

"I am honored," she said with a bow. "On our short acquaintance I have come to respect you." She shrugged, "If you'll excuse me. I have much work to do. I'll have a briefing prepared for you by the end of the day. Emperor Stormrage will likely want a traditional reception."

[Jack Ryder]

"Sounds like a lot of pomp and circumstance and a good thing Kinsey and I will be busy eh Mr. President." Jack said as he leaned in the door way. "So sir... siccing my wife on the Andorians, that's almost not fair. You play dirty sir. I like it."

[James Cross]

"Of course he plays dirty, he's married to my sister." James said with a chuckle as he walked in with a padd. "Kassie and Bella thought I should help out a bit with the Narlins, I think they're trying to keep me from pining for the Intel life." he glanced at Kinsey and winked. "Like that'll ever happen. Oh and do you mind if I take Mac out tonight after I'm done here? There's a new burger and ice cream place that opened up, thought she might like something more Terran. Ever since some lactose intolerant Xenexian got sick, there's a distinct lack of ice cream and frozen custard on Xenex." he looked at Jack. "Hey I'm the boyfriend that actually asks permission."

"I know, which is why I haven't said anything." Jack said with a smile. "I suppose, if it's alright with her mother. Remember, you're both still way under age, you'll take a transporter."

“Don’t stay out too late.” Kinsey replied with a grin. “I don’t want Clint calling to interrogate me.”

"Same to you too." James said with a smirk. "I have to admit there are so many days when I am actually kinda glad you didn't adopt me and the Crosses did, otherwise dating Mac... might feel really incest-y." he chuckled. "Good luck with the Andorians."
