[Aimee Sandoval]

"Huh?" Aimee said stupidity through the haze. "How ate they? My babies?"

[Olivia Ryder]

"Oh they're doing just fine." Olivia said with a smile. "You on the other hand, had to have your lady bits put back together a little, but you'll be fine, bed rest though." she glanced at Tess. "She's got the babies. Like I said they're huge for newborn. I may need to return some of the clothes we got, I didn't think they'd be that big so soon. Or I'll save them for Jena or Trinity."

[Aimee Sandoval]

Aimee swallowed, "The doc said they would develop faster because of their Klingon heritage. He didn't exactly know. I was worried they were premature. I have to ask, and I am certain I already know the answer, but just the same. How do you feel about naming the girl Olivia?"

[Olivia Ryder]

"I'm entirely honored." Olivia said as she gave her a hug. "Although you do know her brother is going to call her 'Old Liver' at some point. Marcus called Liver Breath until I beat him up."

[Aimee Sandoval]

"I was thinking her middle name would be Marie after my adopted mom. She could go by that is she pleases. And her brother: Jonathan Alexander... or simply Xander."

[Olivia Ryder]

"I like that. Nothing wrong with Jonathan... I think it'll be a popular name, just like my dad's was for a minute there, but I think Xander is a cool name anyway." Olivia said and walked over and picked up little Livvy and brought her over. "So... little Livvy Marie... look at the size of her, this was in you not that long ago. Lana was about her size now when she was about nine weeks old."

[Aimee Sandoval]

"Jonathan is my grandfather," Aimee explained. "Never met him, but everyone always said wonderful things about him." Aimee adjusted trying in futility to find a comfortable position. "Big babies run in the family apparently. I was nine pounds eight ounces, and Ethan was ten pounds I think."

[Olivia Ryder]

"Ooof... well... they are gorgeous kids though." Olivia handed her Livvy. "She's got your eyes. Big man seems to like grandma Tess."

"We certainly have a little ladies man." Tess said with a smile. "He wakes up, closes his eyes and curls in closer."

"So Aimee... how does it feel, being 'mommy' now?" Olivia said as she got some of Aimee's hair out of her face. "Certainly a different feeling from just watching someone else's kids."

"I feel like a popped balloon. All deflated, and torn asunder at the same time." Instinctively Aimee put the child to her breast. After a small amount of coaxing Olivia Marie latched and started sucking hungrily. Aimee winced in pain from the unaccustomed sensation.

Staring down at her daughter she smiled, "She's got ridges just like her father."

[Tess Ryder]

"Handsome for a Klingon." Tess said with a smile. "And give yourself time... you did just push these out of an opening the size of an orange. You'll heal up quickly enough, modern medicine sees to that. Still, you'll find yourself having to get used to everything again. I had to actually stuff a pillow down my nylons so I could put my make up and brush my teeth in the morning. At least you have enough girls living in your house with you. There were days when I just wore a robe and let things heal. Besides, big Vin is off on a reporting assignment and Riddic is helping the Marines."

"Yeah it's strangely quiet... just little Vin and he's been super into educational holographic programs you gave him for his birthday." Olivia said with a smile. "Kirby and I actually have time together." she blushed slightly. "Well not always so quiet sometimes. Speaking of... Kirby got your old crew to come by, they finished the nursery and for some dumb reason set up a playground in the backyard, I reminded them it'd be a couple years before they could use it, but the thought that counts."
