Trinity had her two hours of sleep and woke up refreshed and ready to go, practically threatening to knock Kat out, she prepped their gear for the trip off world and made sure their kildens and pinch phasers were charged and ready, and they had enough food and supplies to last them a few days. It did make her smile to see some clothes that her mom had left in the safe house. Still had her perfume on them and it made her miss her mother even more. She glanced at the clock and figured she'd give Kat at least another hour.

As she was making a pot of coffee she had a sudden, intense feeling in the base of her skull, she staggered and sat down and could almost 'see' her mother and Becca Sandoval together. All she did before she made the coffee was smell her mother's blouse in the closet and it made her think about her mother. It was such a curious sensation and then as soon as it happened it was over and she didn't feel it. Although what she did get out of it... the Ajem were coming for her and Kat, it was only a matter of time, yet she got the impression that her mother had someone in mind to help them, since she couldn't help them herself. Of course... she hated when she 'hover shuttle' parented. Still, this time... she'd be fine with it. Two women with two infants and only kildens and a couple of cheap pinch phasers they weren't even sure were going to stand up in a fire fight. Glancing again at the clock, she wondered how much time she could give Kat to sleep and not have her wake up all groggy and out of sorts.

Kat entered exhausted, but alert. Meditation usually did that for her. "Good morning lass," she said as she replicated a bowl of porridge, and a coffee which copious amounts of Scotch was added. Sitting down at the table she started to eat breakfast, ignoring Trinity's expression.

Trinity put her hands on her hips and shook her head. "You could have slept a little longer. Girrrrlll..." she chuckled and handed her a plate of fresh bacon. "Here, get some meat..." she snapped her fingers. "Oh this is... funny." she laughed. "I got this weird mental flash of my mother... I think she's sending someone to help. Her first boyfriend... well... the guy who took her flower." she blushed and chuckled nervously. "Meat. That's his call sign. Big guy. Looks like he'd be a dumb ox but he's incredibly intelligent. I got the impression she wanted to keep it quiet. Weird... we're light years away and I felt her as close as you are there."

She stared at the bacon. Decision to be polite she accepted the offering, smiled, and thanked Trinity. "Aye lass there's an Ijulna conduit connecting you to yer mum. It happens, but not offten."

[Trinity Talon]

"I used to think it was just because we were so similar, but there does seem to be more than that." Trinity said and took a sip of the coffee and raised an eye brow when she caught a wiff of Kat's. "Little Coffee with your Scotch huh?" she teased. "Remind me of a couple of the boys on the ranch. Best part of waking up is booze in your mug."

"Aye. I dinae do it often, but some days call for it ya ken." She finished her meal and stood up. "I'll get the bairns. We ought to start out."

[Trinity Talon]

"Right... I'll get our gear beamed to the shuttle." Trinity said as she put the plates in the replicator. "There's a bag with clothes, should help us blend in a bit better, comfortable boots so you can run. Actually found some underwear from my mother's clothing label. I wish I could have found some SKIN armor to wear underneath but we'll make do with the Iljuna."

Kat raised an eyebrow, "I bloody hope those knickers are new."

[Trinity Talon]

"They're still in vacuum seal." Trinity replied. "Mom only exports her stuff in special sealed packages, last thing she needed was to have someone get some kind of reaction, this stuff is expensive, but it lasts and it's like second skin."

Kat laughed, and left to change. She returned several minutes later with a baby in the crook of each arm, bottles propped up against her chest. "Odd feeling to be sure lass. Have no worn normal clothes in a very long time."
