"Hey I'm the heiress to a whole fashion empire... if there's one thing about being part of the clan, it's you're never going to be looking at a shortage of nice clothes." Trinity said with a chuckle and cocked her head. "I tried that maneuver but I couldn't get the bottles to stay. Anyway... so I've been thinking... if you wanted to foster those two, since they really seemed to bond with you. I'd be willing to do whatever the agency asks so they can stay with you. Even if on paper we say one thing but in reality we do another." she smiled as she saw how relaxed they were with her. "Y'know there are things you can take to nurse more naturally... if you want to that is. Motherhood may not have been something you wanted but it's sure growing on you."

"Och no!" Kat exclaimed. "Ye're havering. These weans need their kin, an their kin need them. I 'ave no right ta even think that way. Dinna fash yersel. The bairns and I'll do."

[Trinity Talon]

"Just sayin'... who knows if they'll be accepted. You know how... shaky things are with the Narlins." Trinity said and patted a small med kit. "I do have a vial that we can load into a hypo if we have to... feed them naturally. We've got enough formula for the trip plus a delays, but if we crash land or we're stuck somewhere for a while without a replicator or other source, may be up to us to keep them fed and alive. There's enough to get one of us able to produce. Once it starts, it'll work until they stop nursing. We can play rock paper scissors over who plays wet nurse if the time comes." she touched the little girl's head. "Can't say I'm not already getting attached."

"Aye well. Let's hope it doesna come ta that. On the plus side wee Lilith is close ta the point where we can start weaning her off formula. Well, are ye ready ta go?"

[Trinity Talon]

"Aye Lassie." Trinity said with a smile. "I have to admit, a change of clothes, a shower and my favorite makeup. I feel more like me." she tapped her wrist band. "And I found a janky old buffer band. Has like barely enough capacity to hold more than a few things. No idea if it'll work in a fight, took forever to get it to take a phaser rifle, but if worse comes to worse, the power cell can explode something or someone."

"I'd keep wit yer own accent you wee bissom. You sound a fool," Kat teased exaggerating her own accent until it was nearly unintelligible to most non-Highlanders.

She handed Simon over to Trinity, drew her kliden and nodded, "Aye, now is as good as any."

[Trinity Talon]

"May the Iljuna be with us." Trinity said as she secured Simon to her back and kept her kilden close as they left the safe house. "It's not far to the shuttle. Just keep the kilden tucked away until we need it." she said while pulling the hood of her jacket up. "At least the rain has gone from torrential to an annoying mist."

"Lass..." she said softly. "I think we need it." Her fingers clamped down upon the metal body of her kliden.

A female Ferengi shoved her gawking child down the street. "Are they hu-mons moogie?" The child asked. "Like the ones we saw earlier?"

"Yes, it isn't polite to stare. There's no profit in it," she chided.

Kat paused to look into the mist. The hairs on the back of her neck were standing on end. Lilith squirmed in her arms, making sounds that usually preceded loud screams. Unconsciously her kliden was drawn, as her eyes went from one from to another and along the rooftops.

"I've got a bad feeling about this." Trinity whispered as they briskly walked to where their shuttle was parked. Her eyes were darting to rooftops and down alleys and other places people would try to hide to take advantage of their unfamiliarity with the city they were in. She swore she heard what sounded like the puff of a weapon firing, but it was simply a Ferengi business man attempting to coax a hover skimmer into operation. "Only a few more blocks."

"Hello Raven," a cold female voice announced.

Kat stopped in her tracks. She slowly turned to face her adversary. She had the pale complexion, and features of someone with ancestry of Nothern Japan. Her head was shaved to reveal a dragon tattoo that wrapped itself around her skull, with a snarling dragon's head between her eyebrows.

"Hello Aiko," Kat replied back in an equally cold tone.

"When I kill you, Bellatrix will finally take me on as her apprentice. You were never worthy of that title."

"Och aye. I would no get yer hopes up though lass. If she has no promoted ye yet she is no likely to."

"You are a treasonous bitch. Your words have no honor. They have no meaning!"

"Aye, I am at that. But, when I a burning in hell my conscience will be clean. Will yours?"

Aiko growled, and ignited her kliden and charged. Kat parried off the first attack with ease. Aiko was burning with rage, and hated. Kat on the other hand was calm.

Lilith didn't like the sudden jarring movements, and the loud clashes of klidens and started crying, which in turn sent her brother into a high pitched wail.
