"Oh it will be." Jack said as he took her hand. "We're going to bring your mother home."

[Daisy Hill]

"If you two are going to play with time again... be careful huh?" Daisy said and walked back into Kinsey's office with a new chair. "Although what's this about Kinsey's mom... thought she was dead?"

"She... is... and isn't. Complex." Jack replied. "But we met her... her real mom, at least before Kinsey was born." he reached into his pocket and pulled out a picture. "The pod took a picture of her for us... not sure what timeline I can get her from, but... if there's a way, I think we can get her. We weren't supposed to be anywhere near her timeline, we should have gone back much further, but we didn't. My pod seems to like to take me to where I need to be, not where I exactly want to be, at least not all the time. Sometimes it has a purpose."

"Sounds like my replicator, I ask for double mocha chocolate fudge cake... and it gives me... something healthier." Daisy chuckled lightly. "I want hips dammit... I want an ass."

"Careful what you wish for. Course you could just have a kid." Jack teased.

"Yeah right... my luck I'll end up skinnier than I started off... like Alice." Daisy stuck her tongue out at him. "Kinsey... please... come back in a reasonable time huh? I'd still love to meet your parents... call it the dream of someone who wishes they could see their parents again. So I'll just live vicariously through you guys."

"We have GOT to find you someone." Jack said with a shake of his head. "I have no bloody clue why you haven't... everyone in this Compound has hooked up with everyone else at some point. If they weren't married that is." he looked at Kinsey with a wink.

"Nice save... I DO have a spot we can bury you if she does kill you. Has a nice tree..." Daisy said and slapped his arm.

[Noella St. James]

"I'd recommend against not doing that..." Noella said as she knocked on Kinsey's door, still limping from her ordeal with the 'other' Noella. "Jack, Kinsey... a moment if you will? I was thinking, perhaps I could join you? If we're going to be potentially dealing with yet another refugee from the timeline or another reality AND you're entering into something with the Andorians, you my need me to ensure we don't cause any more... diplomatic incidents." she gave Kinsey a look. "That one Tellerite Congressman still hates your guts dear. And... my recent ordeal also made me realize I spend far too little time with you Jack. You're still my son, technically."

Jack gave Kinsey a look and smiled slightly. "Well then you may get a chance to meet Kinsey's mum. This should be interesting..."

"How much like Kinsey IS she...?" Noella raised an eyebrow.

"Apple didn't fall far from the tree as it were." Jack replied with a grin.

"Oh... bloody hell... you are definitely going to need me. Besides... I need off this planet for a minute. Keep expecting my doppelganger to show up when I'm in the loo and knock me out." Noella sighed and shook her head. "Despite the bitch being kept in K'n'zy's old cell in the Mount."

[Kinsey Calhoun]

“And here I thought they were keeping that free for me.” Kinsey said with mock sadness.

[Noella St. James]

"Hardly." Noella said and cocked her head slightly. "Now that I've met my own dark reflection... I'm... entirely on your side now Kinsey. I'll be honest, lot of things changed." she looked her in the eye. "I've kept both of you at arm's length for far too long."

[Kinsey Calhoun]

"It helps that you don't think I'm dating your exhusband." Kinsey teased as she collected a couple of padds and shoved them into a backpack in her storage locker. "You do have a mean right hook. So you get to come with us. Otherwise, I'd leave your ass here." Kinsey added as she shut the locker and slung the bag over her shoulder.

"Oh my jealous days are over... besides, I rather like Alice." Noella said with a smile. "Hard to hate that woman, even if I wanted to it's impossible."

"Tell me about it." Jack said as he glanced at the backpack. "Is that Mackenzie's bag?" he hummed. "So, if we're able to figure out how to get your mother into this timeline, do you think she'd leave Xenex? After all, this place is slightly more accepting of travelers, Xenex still fears them a little. That and the place we met her is a rubble pile now."

[Kinsey Calhoun]

"I honestly don't know." Kinsey said. "I spent one night with her Jack...I don't expect anything from her nor do I have any idea what she'll do. I'm in uncharted territory and it's a bit unnerving when I think about it. I think I'm just going to face it happens. For all we know the Andorians are full of shit and want me to grovel which is not happen. He can suck on my phaser before I ever get on my knees for him."

"Hey if you get on your knees around him, it better be to pick up something. Seriously hon... you've made people walk into walls when they've seen you bend at the waist." Jack teased. "Besides me... and I must say Mrs. Calhoun Ryder... the arse has never looked better." he whispered.

"Is he always like that?" Noella raised an eyebrow at Kinsey. "Hopefully the Andorians will give you what you want and I can negotiate for another diplomat on their new colony."

"Don't hold your breath Noella and I plan to be off that damn planet as soon as possible." Kinsey said with a shiver. Andoria was way too cold for her taste and she could never understand how the Andorians could tolerate it living on a frozen wasteland. The thought of it made her shiver again. "Daisy prep the shuttle and keep our flight plan quiet. We don't need to add more member to our party.
