[Ethan Talon]

"Last of a dynasty," Ethan agreed. "What does Donovan say of it?"

[Trinity Talon]

"She was the one who found them and tried to keep them safe until our escape. I think despite what she says, she's been bonding with them. Even if they do go with the Narlins, I can see her being their protector." Trinity replied. "Although little Simon, they didn't have names, Lilith and Simon... but... Simon likes me. He's a happy baby otherwise. Guess it kind of got me prepared for some of our own. You always did tell me you wanted a 'passel of little ones', even before you formally proposed to me." she winked her eye and nudged him.

[Ethan Talon]

"I did," he said with a smirk. "Are you volunteering Mrs. Talon?" Ethan teased as they made their way downstairs.

At the bottom they were met with a squeal of delight, "Oh you are home!" Mrs. Ackers exclaimed. "How lovely to see you! Come, sit! What have they been feeding you? You look like you're skin and bones!"

Mrs. Ackers started heaping food onto a plate. Sausage, bacon, biscuits, eggs, and beans. A true cowboy breakfast, and possibly enough to have fed three of their biggest ranch hands. She shoved the plate in front of Trinity followed by a cup of coffee. "It's so good to see you dear!"

[Trinity Talon]

Trinity looked at the heaping plate and raised an eyebrow. "Not pregnant yet Mrs. Ackers..." she chuckled. "But thank you... I missed you and your cooking too. Nothing but weird replicated shit from another reality." she sighed and picked up her fork. "So what's everyone been up to while I've been... away?"

[Ethan Talon]

"Well, you know the old story; the more things change the more they stay the same. David's got himself a girlfriend. Old Man Calloway's daughter... uh Aimee and Dougal finally got together."

Ethan sat down next the Trinity with his own plate, "Well, like you said Mrs. Ackers it's pretty much the same as always."

[Trinity Talon]

"I'm still kind of shocked with Aimee." Trinity said with a chuckle. "Apparently Aunts Liv and Kirby made it official. So are there any single members of the family anymore? Did you ever set Kalia up with that one rancher from down by the river?" she took a piece of bacon and bit into it. "

[Ethan Talon]

"I did not," Ethan said. "Not my job."

"Don't look at me," Mrs. Ackers said defensively. "Just because I've been known to gossip, doesn't mean I like to create gossip."

[Trinity Talon]

"I guess it'll be up to me then." Trinity said with a dramatic roll of her eyes. "I'm just happy to actually be home. Although the circumstances of why we managed to escape are troubling... Bellatrix and Dominus have been... coupling. And she actually likes it." she shuddered. "I really don't want to imagine what the product those two can come up with would be like."

[Ethan Talon]

"Oh, I don't reckon it takes all that much imagination at all," Ethan said with a peice of bacon in one hand and a coffee in the other. "We saw what Jackson was like, and we each know our own capabilities. The calves will likely be just like you or I, but without the restraint of morals, and empathy."

[Trinity Talon]

"Exactly." Trinity said and pointed her fork at him. "But there is something... I think Dominus himself can't be cloned, not like the ones Jack was helping to make. I mean, why not just build an army of himself and be done with it. I wonder if he experimented on himself too much. Of course, it could be ego. Bellatrix has one as large as a planet as well. It... hurt seeing someone that I care about deeply act the way she does. We both grew up hearing just stories of her, watched old holos of her, but for the past few years, actually being able to know her... have her at our wedding... so to have a woman that looks like her, even has a few of her little mannerisms and yet... is as casual with using the iljuna to crush the life out of someone, like they were just livestock." she shuddered. "We have to stop them, but I worry that just stopping them won't be enough."
