[Jack Ryder]

"Oh I'll keep it quiet. No one will barely know you're gone. If they ask, I say Jack showed up in nothing but an overcoat and a smile and whisked you away." Daisy said with a wink at Jack.

"You make me sound like some love sick man whore." Jack replied.

"Not that far off the mark. Remember who covers for you." Daisy cleared her throat. "Madame Secretary... be careful. Double for you Kinsey."

"I am perfectly capable of protecting my mum and my wife... " Jack said defiantly. "Part of the Andoria we're heading is actually quite nice for us this time of year, makes the Andorians a bit pissy since they don't like it unless it's frigid out."

[Kinsey Calhoun]

"I hate that planet." Kinsey muttered. "Let's get this over with."

[Jack Ryder]

"I'll keep you warm." Jack said as he put his arm across her shoulders.

The sleak diplomatic shuttle touched down at the Andorian Intelligence's small outpost on the edge of their main city. Jack had given Kinsey a fur lined coat with a pair of extremely warm gloves. He was in just his Crombie and a scarf. "A bit nippy out."

"It's enough to freeze our bloody eyeballs Jack!" Noella said, even more bundled up than Kinsey. "That icy blast!"

"Icy blast... you wouldn't last five minutes in London during the winter." Jack said as he glanced at the guards. "A bit edgy, I wonder if Jackson had messed with them too."

[Kinsey Calhoun]

"Or K'n'zy." Kinsey said trying not to appear as though she was freezing her ass off. Sometimes she envied Jack and his ability to adapt to varying temperatures. Even after spending years on Earth and Terra Alpha the cold still bothered her. The sooner they concluded their business on Andoria the better. Hell at this point she wasn't opposed to reading all the minds and then getting right back inside their nice warm shuttle.

"That did cross my mind, but I didn't want to say anything." Jack said as he could tell that the ladies were not exactly 'snow bunnies', so he would keep the visit short and to the point and then get back to their shuttle and then head for warmer climates. "Well there's our contact. Smug looking bastard. Remember, be nice. We only just got Andoria back as a member world."

[Kinsey Calhoun]

"As long as he doesn't provoke me." Kinsey said softly.

[Jack Ryder]

"You must be Director Calhoun..." an older Andorian man said as he approached the party. "I'd offer a tour of the ice sculptures but you ladies look like you're freezing." he said with a hint of amusement in his voice. "So I trust the trip wasn't too difficult. Asteroid belt is a bit wild this time of year."

"We're used to wild." Jack replied. "So I hope you have what we came all this way for."

"Depends." He said with a smirk. "The brunette ain't on her knees yet."

"You really want to push that?" Jack cocked his head. "Kinsey, dear... show the Director what you're capable of doing?" he pointed to one of the ice sculptures.

The ice sculpture exploded as Kinsey crossed her arms.

"Oops I hope that didn't take long to do." Kinsey said not breaking eye contact with the Andorian Intelligence director. The shards of ice lifted into the air spinning as they reshaped into a spitting image of Kinsey right down to her scowl. "Oh I think that looks much better. Now I suggest you hand over what we came for before I continue redecorating."

The Director's jaw dropped and he stammered something and motioned for them to follow him into the office.

"That was so badass... this is why I am proud to call you my wife." Jack whispered as he held her hand.

"Reckless but effective..." Noella mused

[Kinsey Calhoun]

Kinsey shrugged, a smirk on her face, as she followed the Director into his office.

"So what is this thing you have that's suppose to allow us to defeat Dominus?" Kinsey inquired once they were all in the Director's office. "This better not be a waste of my time. I don't like my time being wasted."
