"That's something we can all work towards," Rebecca added. "I'll do what I can to get the Jase'dasis to have a more active role, but I don't know that the Council will listen. Ja'larin, and now myself have been in constant odds with them over this."

"I'm of the feeling... if they don't accept it, fuck 'em." Angel said softly. "Not literally. No one cute in that whole bunch."

"Yeah, well, they are in uncharted waters. Until recently they only accepted Cardassians into the Order."

[Angel Ryder]

"Well if they act that way then they really have no clue..." Angel said with a sigh. "You'd think after the whole Imperium debacle that xenophobia and planetary racism doesn't help anyone. I mean I can understand the xenophobia to an extent but all it does is keep them in an 'us vs. them' mindset."

[Rebecca Talon]

Rebecca shrugged, "They are evolving. I'd give them time. Though, a Gray Order might not be a bad idea."

[Nick Ryder]

"Well I wouldn't mind helping to start it." Nick replied. "Felt good when I was training Kinsey and K'n'zy. Surprised myself how much I really understood and knew just from J'Larin. Imagine what we'd be capable of if we actually HAD to instruct?"

[Rebecca Talon]

Rebecca smirked, "I suppose it is time I took on an apprentice. It is my duty that I've been putting off, but like Ja'larin did for me I can shape the next generation."

[Angel Ryder]

"I'm in for whatever you two are plotting." Angel said as she finished her tea and frowned at the leaves in the bottom of the mug. "If nothing else, trying to learn more about the Iljuna and our abilities... might help. Of course we do need to do something about that law that Porter put out... I know it was to make it easier to stop the Ajem, but it also hinders us from using our abilities open too. At least those of us that aren't 'Royal family', or we say we're augments and people should respect our life choices."

"The downside is it's very popular," Rebecca said thoughtfully. "And far too easy to circumvent." She reached into her clothes and pulled out her own kliden for emphasis. "The Ajem will not follow the law if they see fit to break it. It accomplishes nothing, but to leave the Jase'dasis disarmed for an Ajem attack."

"Well... you know we can fix that part, we're not exactly inexperienced with hiding our weapons in plain sight." Angel said as she tapped her wedding band in a particular way and a small device formed over her hand. "Uses the diamond in my engagement ring to focus a small energy bolt. That is if I was wearing a buffer band. Last resort weapon." she shrugged her shoulder. "But I'm pretty sure we could develop a kilden that uses nanotech and perhaps build in the crystal into something innocent looking. Buffer bands would be the easiest thing, but you're still holding onto a kilden, this could break down into jewelry that no one would question."
