I made damn sure most of my the time I've been here we didn't just blab what our plans were, or if we did, we changed our plan midstream so the end result was entirely different." she put her mug in the sink and leaned against the counter. "The more we talk, the more my leave is a good idea. I think we need to do some serious thinking and planning."

Course that was when Sloan was still calling shots. See that's the thing with Orders and Agencies and such, someone big and important dies or is removed and new people take over, things tend to shift. 31 went back to their roots, got semi-public again, once upon a time they had entire fleets during the Klingon War in the 23rd Century. I was working for them since before Pythus, but when I got there I drifted from Intel back to Command and well... wasn't until I got the gold stripes that I started aiding them a bit more. Trying to get them legit again. Why do you think I'm starting Alpha Section? Not everything can be done through Alliance SHIELD. Need something smaller, more nimble, with a few more scruples."
