[Tomarah t'Sei]

"We will be fine," Tomarah replied dispassionately. "That's why there is a chain of command. No individual invaluable."

[Cece Ryder]

"True... " Cece nodded her head. "Guess we built a good fleet. But I am serious... if it comes down to it, I'll put the uniform back on. That's why we wrote in the at-will policy for those Captain and above, resume duties when needed, retire when needed."

[Tomarah t'Sei]

"I believe President Ryder, and Admiral Sandoval are free," she said the corner of her mouth turned up in a wry smile.

[Cece Ryder]

"Don't give them an excuse, I'm sure they'd do it, although perhaps not as easily as they once would. Grandfather is busy setting up a new intelligence agency and Sandoval... I think still needs some... free agency time." Cece said with a slight smile. "Of course, the Tigris did serve them well in Jack's rescue. Shocking that old bird is still battle worthy, even with her successor already doing missions. Although, to me, both ships are old tech, I still feel like an astronaut among cowboys. Maybe in ten, fifteen years that'll finally go away."

[Tomarah t'Sei]

Tomarah smirked, "What I'd give to be on the bridge of a warbird again. Very few of those old D'deridex warbirds still out there, and the Empire gobbled them up." She shrugged, "Still flying a desk does get tedious at times."

[Cece Ryder]

"She may not be an old D'Deridex... but we've got the Alth'Indor in storage. After Ang'Jhu was killed, President Ryder kept it in the same orbital storage yard as some of the other 'family' ships. Almost as big but swoopier lines. I'm sure if you ask nicely... I think he always intended to keep it in case we needed to infiltrate the 'other' Romulans."

[Tomarah t'Sei]

Tomarah waved a dismissive hand, "I'll be fine. Just an old woman reminiscing over the old times. Besides my place is here on Terra Alpha doing stuff like this."

[Cece Ryder]

"I suppose... and I guess it's good to let some others take point now and again, otherwise they rely on us too much." Cece said and crossed her arms. "I don't regret taking this role, Bella needed me after the attack and I do like Jon a lot. More than I thought I would. He's actually in the office, Grandfather was almost always in the lab if he wasn't needed in the office."

"I can understand the desire," Tomarah said simply
