Out in the Open Part 2

[Tali’Zorha]

"Yeah..." Tali poured it into her glass and skulled it. "Grozit... what in the hells?" she gestured to the window. "When could your mother do that? And Jack? I've seen... dozens of them. Some were evil assholes but that... that's something... what's that phrase that I keep hearing Bella say? WHAT THE FUCK?!?!"" Tali sat in one of the chairs and just looked at Mac. "I... I think your grandfather helped us see that. I could feel him. I haven't felt him in my mind in decades... "

[Mac Calhoun]

“I did feel something else like it was guiding me.” Mac said as she ran her hand through her hair as she started to pace. “Where the hell is JT?”

[Tali’Zorha]

"JT's coming in... I think he's scared to come in." Tali replied. "Cross, Kirk... come in, close the door." she said and closed her eyes. "M'k'n'zy... and I..."

"Just... take it easy. Both of you." JT said as he put his arm around Mac's shoulder. "What did you see?"

"Planets exploding... worlds ending." Tali said and looked at Mac. "I think Kinsey and Jack... are helping Dominus... and Kinsey's alive."

[Mac Calhoun]

Mac turned into JT and hugged him tightly for a long moment as she tried to collect herself. She felt slightly better in his arms, but she was still shaken.

“They’re helping him.” Mac said with certainty. “I felt it, I saw it, and I heard an entire planet scream out as she murdered them. I still hear them.”

[Tali’Zorha]

"I... I didn't think we were capable of that. I thought she was like me but..." Tali said as she poured herself another shaky glass and shook her head. "They must have turned them somehow. This is bad."

"I'll say it is... I mean it's good... Kinsey's alive. So that presumably means that Cece could be as well." Clint said and sighed. "Selene... was a distraction. But... we need to be smart about how we attack this. If Kinsey can blow up a world with her mind... and Jack can control an entire population? Holy shit... that's not something we ever prepared for."

"It does get a bit worse... one of those worlds... was Brethren, I think... and I'm not certain but... K'n'zy almost seemed... like she was getting justice, like she was calm about it." Tali said and looked into her glass. "And... my... K'n'zy's father, I sensed him. I thought he was killed in this reality but maybe like my daughter, death doesn't mean the same thing to him. I don't know." she closed her eyes and wiped the tears. "I wish I could tell you more, I... I really don't know how we handle this. She's my daughter. And Jack is a good man, the best version of him I've ever encountered and now..."

"Mac... Tali, why don't you two just take some time. JT. Stay with Mac, clearly she needs you." Clint said and took a deep breath. "Once Decker's ships get here, we're going to get closer, observe and figure out what the hell is going on here. And then we inform the Vice President and the Presidents Price.. and we prepare for war."

[Mac Calhoun]

“He shouldn’t even be here.” Mac said angrily. “He was supposed to be looking for a way to defeat Dominus. This…I can’t forgive this.”

[Hur'agha]

- Meanwhile

General Hur'agha and her crew had tracked the Vindicator to a remove system. Only it wasn't just the Vindicator. There were several wedge shaped alien ships along with another massive ship that they had met.

A planet had been split apart and they were now harvesting the remains for the resources that it provided. She grumbled under her breath. They had found them, and there was nothing they could do about it. To attack with one bird of prey was suicide. Even dropping a sensor buoy would likely be detected.

"Helm back us off, and take us three light-years from our current position. Once we are hail the Viper. Tell them we have found Dominus."

[Clint Cross]

"Agreed... that's just... either he's being manipulated but for them both to do that... and be the ones actually doing the genocide and and... planetcide. There's no walking that back. Not easily at least. While I'm happy Kinsey's alive... what they're doing... I hate to have to kill them. So... we consider them Enemies of the State, capture only... that's about all we owe them, short of a shoot on site like we did with Julie Lei, Tiberius and Bellatrix and Dominus." Clint shook his head and then hit the wall with his fist. "Dammit... Tali... do you think if you had to face her you could... stop her?"

"If i had to. I don't want to. But I hope I could at least put her down until we can question her and Jack. But they seem stronger together, I noticed that when we first met. He would do anything for her. Including it seems... commit genocide with her." Tali groaned. "The Galaxy... is fucked Clint."

"i KNOW." He said in frustration. "If they can do that... that means that Dominus can just shunt them elsewhere like he's been doing for months or he could just tell them 'Blow up Terra Alpha' and that'd be it. Or Earth or any other major power. If they're hitting those smaller border worlds, they're just testing them. For what... I really don't want to find out. If Selene were here... she'd probably want to kill them both but we're not Selene. But we are Hawkeye. So... once we're in range, we still gather whatever intel we can, regroup and... I think we recommend that the Alliance assembles and we try to stop them before they go from testing on smaller worlds to major ones."

[Mac Calhoun]

“There is one more world left in the system.” Mac pointed out. “I think it’s their next target.”

[Clint Cross]

"Shit..." Clint gripped the back of a chair. "We really can't let them do that again... and yet.. can we really even get close to stopping them?" he looked at JT and Mac. "And I know you don't want to hear this Mac but we could be risking their lives."
