"Mac... I think you're a genius... let's blow it up." JT replied.

Clint groaned. "You do realize we'll lose our element of surprise."

"Not of we drop a mine in its path." JT said and glanced at Tali.

"Ohhh that'll be fun. Beaming three mines..." Tali replied "T-minus... 20 seconds until they're in range to explode."

[Mac Calhoun]

“Standing by on transporters.” Mac said double checking to make sure she still had a transporter lock.

[Jack Ryder]

Dominus' Base Ship --

"Oh this is getting out of hand..." Jack said as he kicked a Brethren in the back and used a fallen kilden to slash another's arm off. "We need to get to the Pod... JR should have siphoned enough energy from this thing to keep us going... but we're still in a transporter proof section." he slipped into the minds of one of the engineers and 'made' him deactivate a panel that dropped shields in a nearby section. "Another five meters." he shot an Acolyte and grimaced. "Oh bloody... Ophelia's coming..."

[Kinsey Calhoun]

The ship rocked violently sending them flying across the corridor as conduits exploded. Kinsey hit the deck hard and grimaced as pain ran through her body. She looked up just in time to catch a piece of bulkhead before it fell on them. She threw it in the direction Ophelia was coming from hoping that would delay her.

“Are you alright?” Kinsey asked Jack as she quickly looked over panic in her eyes. The memory of his death flashing through her mind.

[Bellatrix]

Bellatrix was breathing heavily, but not winded. Her kliden hummed, all around her were the bodies of Brethren. "Pity, I would have rather let them kill and be killed by the Alliance. Oh well," she sighed. "Where's Kinsey and Jack?" She shook her head, and gave Dominus a "told you so" look. "I'm guessing Ophelia is off to find them. Good. She made that particular mess she should clean it up. Now, on to the subject of the Alliance, I should transport back to the Vengeance."

[Jack Ryder]

Jack groaned and looked at his messed up arm. "Oh yea I'll be right as rain once I get to the Pod." he said as he flexed his injured hand and winced in pain. "JR, auto morphine and deploy nano repair toolkit." he sighed in relief and looked at his arm as a tiny lattice of metal mesh enveloped it. "I linked JR to a small implant in the base of my skull, essentially I have an AI on board and since said AI was based on a version of me..." he explained as he gestured with his good hand and made a Brethren shoot himself in the head.

"Oh you two are so fuckin' dead." Ophelia spat out blood and a tooth. She ignited her kilden and charged at them.

"Kinsey my love... can you handle her on the run?" Jack said as he kicked open an access hatch and used a fallen kilden to make a kind of improvised explosive device. "Hey you bloody Brethren... like fire so much? I AM THE GOD OF HELLFIRE!" Jack shouted as the kilden exploded the gasses inside the access hatch and made it into a three foot diameter plasma flame beam that incinerated them where they stood, leaving only armored boots and scraps of metal in its wake.

[Kinsey Calhoun]

“I’m the destroyer of worlds.” Kinsey said with a smirk as she flung Ophelia back. Ophelia slammed into the wall as they ran down the corridor in the opposite direction. “How far until the beam out point?”

[Jack Ryder]

"Just a bit further." Jack said as he limped a little. "That was a nice toss dear."

"You guys make my teeth want to rot and fall out." Ophelia groaned and used the iljuna to push the debris off her. "I should have cut your limbs off..." she spat and reached for her kilden.

"Nuh uh..." Jack pushed it out of hand and cracked it open against a wall. "I really must thank you for helping us achieve our true potential... but you killed our best friend and you took our daughter. That REALLY can't stand. The rest.. I could give a crap about."

Ophelia snarled at him and dove for him, but he grabbed her skirt and used her own momentum against her slamming her into a pile of bodies and debris. "Kinsey... if you please." Jack said as he took a fallen weapon and blasted a wall panel. "I'm sensing the shields are down! JR! Two for beam out!"

[Kinsey Calhoun]

“This is for my daughter and Selene you bitch.” Kinsey said as she snapped Ophelia’s neck just as she was engulfed in the blue hue of a transporter beam.

TAS-Vipre

“Shields are down and I’ve got a lock! Beaming now!” Mac called as she mashed the transport button on her console. The transporter engaged just as the Pod’s locked on to Jack and Kinsey.

“Shit!” Mac exclaimed as she checked the brig footage. Only Kinsey had materialized in the brig cell. “I don’t have Jack. I’m not picking him up on the scanners or the prisoners. They must have been beaming out at the same time. Shit!”

Jack looked around the control room. "Kinsey? Kinsey?!" he called out. "JR? Where the fuck is my wife?"

"The Viper snagged her... sorry Jack." JR replied. "They got her..."

"Dammit to bloody hell." Jack slammed his fist into the console. "Get us out of this war zone."

A Short time later --

Ophelia woke up in a clone tank and coughed as she spat out the nutrient liquid that surrounded her in the tank as it opened. "Fucking bitch..." she rubbed her neck. "Weird... phantom pain." she muttered and wrapped a robe around herself. "Phoenix protocol... worked like a charm." tapping a few controls on a console she broke off the part of the base ship that was her 'wing'. "Computer... cloak section and space any Brethren."
