[Jack Ryder]

"I can't believe how screwed up my head is... I saw him and I wanted to kill him." Jack said with a heavy sigh. "Oh sure the time dilation... thing they put me in made me less... kill on sight toward him... but I loved centuries without you. And it was because of him." he held her hand. "Look I'm more than a little clingy because all Ophelia left me were your rings and Carly's earrings and necklace. Couldn't even give you both a proper burial of course, neither of you were dead... so... but yeah... I really don't like where my head's at sometimes, so don't hesitate to slap me upside the head if I get too possessive."

[Kinsey Calhoun]

“Shhh.” Kinsey said as she slipped off her pillow and joined him. She stroked his hair and caressed his face. “I’m here now and a little possessiveness is alright especially in the bed, but we’ve always been partners Jack. You know I will set you right if that dynamic changes.”

[Jack Ryder]

"Thank you." Jack said and rested his forehead against her's. "Is it wrong to say that I thought you were incredibly sexy when you were blowing up planets? You almost seemed to glow."

[Kinsey Calhoun]

“Coming from you no. You think I look sexy reading a book.” She said smiling at him. “I felt like I was glowing. I can’t describe it I just felt so...energized. Like right before a thunderstorm when the hairs on your arms stand on end from the electricity in the air and your so excited for the coming storm. I could just reach my arms up and fly away to the heavens.”

"It's like you're... somehow above it all.. beyond it all." Jack said as he looked at her in the eyes. "Although... if you do go take me with you. You've quote unquote died like three or four times since we've been together. I think... the fourth one I'm hazy on."

[Kinsey Calhoun]

“It’s not like I plan these things.” Kinsey told him gently as she brush a strand of hand from his face. “If people would stop interfering I would never leave you. Even when I do we somehow always find our way back to each other.”

[Jack Ryder]

"Indeed... we do seem to find our way back. But I think if we had said 'that's it, we're out... LEAVE US ALONE!" sooner... not like we'd ever be that bored." Jack said as he leaned back a bit. "We always find ways to amuse ourselves. Why do you think I got into teaching? Being on the front lines... it's screwed with our family so much."

“I did enjoy your lectures.” Kinsey said with a smile and sighed. “I am to blame. My need to serve and protect everyone. I tore our family apart.”

"Hey I agreed to go along with it all too." Jack replied. "But yeah... I think we need this. We can destroy worlds now... that's kind of the top of the food chain."

[Kinsey Calhoun]

"There is always the possibility that our children can too." Kinsey said as she looked into his eyes. "What do we do when everyone else starts to figure that out too?"
