"That's what I'm worried about. Someone getting the idea to motivate them especially the young ones. They've had Selene's training but still they're young." Kinsey said as she shook her head. "I just hope we made the right choice leaving them with Bella and Jon. I haven't had 200 years to think about it Jack. I've only had ten seconds in comparison. Tell me you've thought about the out comes. That you've considered this already. That I'm just over thinking it like always."

"I have thought this through and yes and no about the overthinking." Jack said with a slight smile. "Yes you're overthinking it.. once Dominus is taken care of and the Ajem more concerned about power grabs, they won't go after our kids and if they do... well, I didn't say we'd stay away from them forever. We take them with us. All of them. Take them off the board, but I'd rather see them try to have as normal a life as possible and find their way without us trying to steer them. I was manipulated most of my life by my mother and my father... granted dad was less harsh but still... I went into applied sciences because of dad and I learned to fight and even consider using my psionics because of Julie. Carly was manipulated since her birth by Jackson and K'n'zy to be a weapon. And if the Ajem do plan to use her that way, I can get her at any time. But there are things going on that even I cannot really interfere in. Things that would shift things too far beyond either of our ability to control and yes... that's where you're not overthinking."

“Yes Kinsey they’re fine where they are. You’re over thinking it I’ve thought it out. Now shut up and kiss me.” Kinsey said with a smile as she leaned forward and kissed him. “All you had to say.”

"Sorry... still in mad scientist mode." Jack said with a sheepish look and kissed her again. "That and I haven't talked to you in centuries." he caressed her face. "Only thing I did forget... you really have soft hair. Even with like... no real care. Your mother's isn't that soft. Another thing I can thank your father for?"

“Been feeling my mother’s hair while I’ve been gone?” Kinsey teased.

"Had to pick glass shards out of it." Jack said casually. "She's really a rather interesting woman, so many of your little... things make sense now. Truly nature vs nurture. Still you and I were meant to find each other. And we did our part in all this. My only mission now... is being your mate. Let the universe go as it may. As long as those two sides of the same coin don't end it all and even then... I've got ideas on how to fix it."
