"Well other than that... there isn't anything else that I can sense mentally. Although I wouldn't rule out anything physical. Lucius keeping you birth control, of course... I really do not see you as a mother, at least of your own kids. So that doesn't worry me... of course that's sort of a worry for much much further down the road." Tali said with a smile. "You only just met the guy yesterday. For all we know this reality's Selene was nuts and put up with way more than you'd put up with. Although any man that would leave you after a night of hot sex to make bunny pancakes with his grown daughter and kids that aren't even his... kinda says something."

[Liara]

“He’s a good man Tali.” Selene said with a smile. “A man I don’t feel I deserve but apparently he’s heard that before. But for now...it's fun.”

[Tali’Zorha]

"So enjoy it! About time you got a chance to just enjoy yourself with someone and not have to kill them in the end." Tali said with a laugh. "I'm just enjoying having a place of my own, the apartment they set me up with at the Compound is gorgeous, directly adjoining Alice Ryder's famous rose garden. But really... this is a good place you're in. For once you're able to do what you want. Course you have to answer to Cross, but I think he wouldn't be anything like your previous spymasters. Everyone I've met here has been nothing but decent. They kill and spy on people for a living, but it's not because they're trying to control others, just keep the population at large safe. I can respect that. You'll fit in, everyone on the Viper seemed to be damaged in some way shape or form but came together as a unit."

[Liara]

“You really are alright here? You feel safe?” Selene inquired.

[Tali’Zorha]

"Not really... Dominus seems like the kind of person to just nuke the planet from orbit and that's it... but other than that... I do feel safe. The people here are good people, for the most part. Even if the press and other politicians are a bit on the asshole side of life. But what else is new?" Tali gestured with her hand. "No one is ever truly safe, but like Clint said at Selene's funeral, have to live every day as if it's our last, but enjoy what we have and hope that tomorrow will come. Shockingly healthy attitude for a spy and a father. Give it a chance, if it doesn't work out, I'm sure they won't beat you up or put you in a cell."

[Liara]

“I wouldn’t give them the chance.” Selene said and nodded her head. “Well then Tali’Zorha it seems my mission with you is done. I guess I need to find a new one.”

[Tali’Zorha]

"Oh it'll never truly be over, you know how I get into trouble." Tali said with a laugh. "I'm truly glad you are here. Even if your life is about to get a whole lot more confusing."

[Liara]

“Cross wants me to meet her father.” Selene said looking into Tali’s eyes. “I told him it wouldn’t be an issue. I’m not sure that it won’t.”

[Tali’Zorha]

"I've met him, you'll like him." Tali said and nudged her arm. "Your 'sister' Nora is adorable. I imagine she looks like a you did at her age. Take it from a telepath, he's far more compassionate even IF he's still a 'former' despot and tends to favor some more aggressive reactions at times, but he's learning to be a 'good boy'. Natalia Ryder is a good influence on him." she looked at her hands. "Usually when I shake hands with someone I can tell if they're benevolent or malevolent. I didn't get a sense of malevolence at all."
