“We’ll see I guess.” Selene said as she picked up the black lace and twirled them around her finger. “Right now, it’s fun. I just hope he’s not planning to groom me into caring for his children. We’re not there yet and I’m not there yet. Right now I'd rather just enjoy the sex.”

Tali smiled and nodded her head. "Plenty of people that are taking care of his children... I suspect he wants his old partner back. But as they were before children and domesticity. So enjoy the sex, the violence that I'm sure will come that you are soooo good at." she put some of the lingerie and smaller accessories into the drawers. "Just remind him that you need your freedom too and not to be boxed in, but seriously Selene... I wouldn't really hunt for other lovers, I've seen his mind too. You won't find many here that will treat you like he will. Be his partner. He knows there is a keen tactical mind there. Not the 'mindless killer' like so many have pegged you for. Or the "hot piece of ass" others have reduced you and your skills to."

"Who knew you were so insightful?" Selene teased as she tossed the underwear onto the dress and plopped onto the bed.

"I was always insightful, I just didn't always feel safe sharing how much I knew." Tali replied and sighed happily. "It's still a shit reality but there are at least some things that make it all worth it. Family. Even starting to make some friends. While yes I know you'll say something like 'they make us weak, they give our enemies targets' but... this family unit around us. They'd have to be seriously insane to get on their bad side. Not one person I've encountered I've questioned their place in all this. Even Kassandra, my granddaughter in law. A bit of a sex addict with some kinky tastes, but she's all business when she has to be, quick on the draw with a weapon and tactical when she needs to be. Although Jason, her husband, used to have some incredibly naughty thoughts about you before. His sister is amazing, I love working with her. The only one I'm not entirely sure about is Julie Le'i's mother, Anjali Sasyaki. Was a spy then became a diplomat and now back to being an intel team leader, she's with SHIELD, home land Intel, but it seems share resources. Very... ruthless woman. You'd probably like her."

“I suppose we’ll find out at some point.” Selene said as she glanced at the clock. “I should get dressed. Clint should be back soon. Are you staying for dinner?”

[Tali’Zorha]

"Oh no, I've got chicken saltimbocca waiting for me. The Chef they have at the Compound is amazing." Tali said as she stood up and stretched and slipped back into her shoes. "And I promised little Ma'k'n'zy and J'son that we'd have dessert together when Carly gets back home tonight. Apparently in this reality, you were her guardian as you were mine. Daughter of another Jackson and K'n'zy, I'm looking forward to meeting her. Seems every corner is another member of the family, either married into or blood. It's a nice change." she patted Selene's shoulder. "Have fun tonight... just think of it as finally getting what the universe owed you for so much trouble over the years."

“Thanks Tali,” Selene smiled as she picked up the dress and lifted the lace. “I intend to.”

[Tali’Zorha]

"Oh and call me tomorrow... maybe we can explore the City together. I really think we need to set up some of our own caches and safe houses, just in case anything happens, I'm sure there are places around already but nothing that's known really only to you or I." Tali said as she pulled out a communicator. "Burner communicator, until you get set up with one of your own."

[Liara]

“I’ve already been thinking about that.” Selene stated as she took the communicator. “The fun part will be making sure they’re places she wouldn’t go.”

[Tali’Zorha]

"Although the fun part will be finding places that she did go. I'll see if I can sweet talk someone into giving me one of the town cars." Tali winked her eye. "Let's hope I still remember how to drive one of those, it's been a while."
