"You scanned her, what do you think?" Tali inquired of Noonian

"I'll need to look at them more closely on the mainframe but if it comes to a time when you want to, I may be able to make something happen. Depends on how much my counterpart left. But adoption is not exactly something anyone is opposed to anymore." Noonian replied. "Thanks to your counterpart's daughter."

"Or if it's meant to happen it will." Tali'zorha said as she crossed her arms. "Still... enjoy the single life for a bit longer. I have a feeling that we need the Widow more than the mother. If what I experienced on our last mission is any indication."

[Liara]

“I’ve only slept with him twice Tali.” Selene said with a roll of her eyes. “The Black Widow hasn’t softened. Now are you ready to go on this adventure?”

[Tali’Zorha]

~ Twice... I thought I sensed at least a dozen times by now... ~ Tali replied mentally. "I'm ready when you are. Clint, I will try to have her back before the evening. No promises."

"We should probably be leaving anyway... " Natalia glanced at her watch. "Noonian and I have a meeting and James is also due back at the Compound."

"It was a genuine pleasure meeting you." Noonian said as he bowed slightly.

"I'm sure we'll see each other again." James said as he nodded his head and put his hand on her arm. "Have fun."

"See Selene... told you'd that take you in as one of their own. And in less than an hour. Almost a record." Tali teased them. "So, I hope you don't mind if I drive... "

[Liara]

“As long as you don’t kill me. I have plans for tonight.” Selene stated as she glanced over her shoulder one last time to look at Clint as they walked out the door.

[Tali’Zorha]

"You're falling for him... aren't you?" Tali said as she motioned to the black car in the lot. "How was dinner?"

[Liara]

“Don’t be ridiculous he provides me with a pleasurable experience.” Selene said, defensively. “And dinner was good. The dress managed to survive until after.”

[Tali’Zorha]

Tali laughed and shook her head at her reaction. "I'm glad you had fun but seriously, you could do far worse for a lover than Director Cross. Don't be afraid of it." she started the engine and gunned it out of the parking lot. "You should see the scrap of fabric I'm planning on wearing or my date with Joe. I may need a medic on standby. So... I should come clean Selene, I managed to intercept a coded message intended for my daughter. But since she's not here, I got it. The other casualty of the night your counterpart died, K'n'zy's daughter Carly, she's alive, one of Dominus' allies had her. Thing is, we're trying to keep her return on the down low. That's why we need to set up a safehouse somewhere. Oh and... trunk has a stash of weapons, you can help yourself."

[Liara]

“Why am I not surprised Tali? You always seem to drag me into trouble.” Selene said giving her a look.

[Tali’Zorha]

"Yeah, but this time at least we have plenty of people that will come and help us out." Tali said with a smile. "And I didn't even have to have sex with someone to get those weapons either. They just give them to me. It's so different from where we came from."

[Liara]

“Agreed, Cross was giving me gear and clothing before I even took him to bed.” Selene informed her as she watched the city go by outside the car window. Committing the route to memory should she need it.
