Re: Run Like Hell
"Talk to Sandoval. Before all this, we sent her away. She should be either back or on Monestary. If she doesn't help you... then talk to Trinity." Cece said and sighed. "I'm about two months out of the loop, but Trinity is persuasive. Just... don't get her into a fight not while she's pregnant. And do not tell her abou..."
"About what?" Trinity said as she stood in the doorway and had her kilden in her hand, finger hovering over the activator. "Don't tell me you're actually alive? Don't tell me you're working with an Ajem'dasis? Is this the month for Calhoun betrayals?"
"Trinity..." Cece looked at her former Yeoman and sighed. "Because I don't want you trying to get your nose into something that may cause harm to those twins."
She put her kilden back in her boot holster and sighed. "Let me guess, Shadow Protocol 2?"
"3 actually. I have no idea who may be listen, sensing and stalking us. Lady Seig'Ajem has thrown in to work with us, because Dominus just burned her and those loyal to her, if she has any of them left. So the only ones we can truly trust is a very very small number." she closed her eyes. "Also... if its known that I'm back, then I'm pretty sure Ophelia will finish what she wanted to start."
"I understand..." Trinity looked at Kat. "So... Monestary? You sure you can't do something here? Course, Ethan won't let me near Marines unless I'm just visiting so... I've got nothing on my plate." she glanced at Ashley. "Never thought I'd be helping you... Apprentice. But... as my grandfather and I have discussed perhaps such a binary way of looking at the Iljuna is more dangerous than the Jase'dasis realize."

Ashley raised an eyebrow, "You knew of my affiliation?"
Kat shook her head, "Dinnae underestimate Alliance Intelligence. They have former Section 31, Tal Shiar, Obsidian Order and NI operatives working for them.
"I dinnae even ken if going to Monestary will work. The ancient texts speak of a Jase'dasis named Kyle Katarn who was able reestablish his connection. He had to go to a sacred place called the Valley of the Jedi. A place strong with the ijulna. An ijulna nexus if you will. There is only one such location I know of in the galaxy, and it's on Monastery. Possibly Kolbran, an Ajem planet located in the Bad Lands, but it's controlled by Bellatrix's minions."

"And how do I know I can trust the lot of you?" Ethan said as he entered the bunkhouse. His thumb discreetly slipped the thong off his holstered revolver.
He crossed the room and sat down at the kitchen table with his back to the wall facing the door. He set his cowboy hat on the table and leaned back in the chair with his arms crossed. "You're a former Ajem Donovan, and you are a current Ajem Walker. And, you Ryder.... your family's name isn't so squeaky clean around here anymore, and with you consorting with the enemy... well, let's just say more than a couple wouldn't mind seeing you strung up Old West style."

Re: Run Like Hell
"Eu tu Ethan?" Cece said as she stood up and crossed her arms. "Remember who brought you to this party."
"Ethan, you say anything snarky to my cousin and former Captain, you're sleeping with Jake tonight." Trinity said and sighed. "As much as I am trying to be a Jase'dasis, the more that goes on... the more we need to adjust tactics."
"We also need to find the allies that we can, otherwise we are all dead." Cece said firmly. "Victoria has promised to play nice, in exchange for the same courtesy. Trust me, I'm the last person that would try to make her out to be anything more than a manipulative bitch, I have no love lost for the Ajem'dasis or for Underwood. But Bellatrix is a far greater threat than we've faced, and she has far loftier plans than even the Imperium."
"So this is the question Kat... do you need to have your connection to the Iljuna to give us necessary intel... or are we doing a road trip? Space trip. Whatever... you know what I mean." Trinity inquired.

Re: Run Like Hell
Ethan stood and poured himself a coffee from the pot on the counter. Sitting again he sipped the cup, set it down, and sighed. "No snark Trin, just stating the obvious. After what Jack and Kinsey did, Cece shows up in the company of a Ajem'dasis. They are here recruiting another former Ajem, which I might add, she is thought to he dead. It doesn't take much of an imagination to think Cece has broke bad."
"Oh aye," Kat nodded solemnly. "The optics are a wee bit bad to be sure. No, I dinnae, think her motivations are anything but in the best interest of the Alliance. I tell you what lass, you ask questions an I'll answer. If ye think those questions are no useful I'll go to Monestary."
Ethan nodded, "Sounds reasonable, and I'll even volunteer the services of the Charger for that mission."

"The Charger?" Cece winced. "I was thinking something more off the books." she smiled slightly. "And no I didn't break bad, I spent a month in a dark hole pretty much in rags and I lost ten pounds. But Thorne and I came to an understanding and she was burned by Dominus. Either she threw in with me or she was destined to be another corpse on the pile. The Alliance way has always been about making allies of enemies. Also... I know what my parents did and I would prefer they not know I'm around. Granted my father is intelligent, he'd figure it out eventually but at this point, I'd rather not deal with them. Remember who my birth parents were."

Ethan grunted, and raised his cup to his lips, "Then you'll want to talk to Aimee. If she doesn't have a ship she'll know someone who does. Her company, ARS, goes all over the galaxy and seeing one of her freighters wouldn't raise any questions."

Re: Run Like Hell
"Tell you what lass, I'll leave that up to the wee buggers who walked in me door asking questions," Kat said to Trinity. "Is there an answer that I can give that will allow the three of you to defeat the Four Horsemen? How adept are ye Ms. Ryder when it comes to the kliden? And you Princess?"
Ashley looked nervously at Cece. Ashley was getting better, and she was better than average, but there was no way she could defeat even the least experienced of Bellatrix's children.

"I'm better with a phaser... although I have picked up a few things. More if a better swords person lets me into their mind to let me 'absorb' their training... at least technique so I can start working on muscle memory." Cece said and shrugged her shoulders. "I had ethical telepathy drilled into me..." she sighed. "Still, this isn't as much help as I was hoping, I was hoping there'd be something you could tell us, some little tidbit we could use against Bellatrix. Unless... you're unwilling to anger your former Mistress and paint a target on your back and those children's."

Kat sighed, and went to a nearby desk. She pressed her thumb to the biometric sensor and opened a small compartment and withdrew an isolinier chip and handed it to Cece. "Me diary lass, plus a wee bit of tactical data that I was pervy to, though that is probably way out of date. I dinae ken she would even be willing to have bairns of her own, until they popped up all evil and shite. An the good lord Ken's as well as I do how much I would like to see Bellatrix dead, so if you want me mind it's all yers."
