With Faith (Reprise)

[Rebecca Talon]

Plo smiled and pulled an apple out of his robes, and bifurcated it with a knife and with the ijulna he offered Nick half. "I don't think anyone who is raised in that environment would be completely sane."

He bit into his half with a satisfied expression, "I think I will be planting apple trees on Monestary and possibly Cardassia. I only wish I had these when I was a kid. If you want to know more about the girl talk to Salene and Clint. They met her."

[Nick Ryder]

"Yeah I saw the report. Selene's was short, guess some things never change." Nick said as he took a bite of the apple. "As for your apples, talk to Trinity, she's the queen of the fruit and berry growers. You know that girl made more in one year of selling berries than I did selling my first non Starfleet patent? I made enough to build two houses, a medical clinic and outfit a couple of small caches of gear from that. This girl... but yeah she'll find you some good seeds that'll take on Cardassia. She's been talking about importing Cardassian roses, she found a pressed rose that Garak once gave me for Julie, but I never did since we were fighting at the time."

He waved a dismissive hand, "Seeds I got. It is experience I lack, but I relish the challenge of making it work."

[Nick Ryder]

"Always good to try new things." Nick said with a smile and he finished the apple. "So... this daughter of Dominus and Bellatrix, where is she now? Or is that something I have to find out?"

[Rebecca Talon]

"I would assume she is with either Dominus or Bellatrix," He said with an amused expression. Tapping his temple with the index and forefingers of his left hand he continued, "It's not like I get a continual livestream of her whereabouts. The ijulna doesn't work that way, and praise whatever diety you believe in for that. Sounds like torture to me."

"Indeed... I just thought you had some location information. " Nick replied and chuckled. "Ever since Jack and Kinsey blew the shit out of his current base, I haven't been able to get reliable intel on where he is. Although there are like four other Dominus' out there. Unless he's figured out how to get from one end of the galaxy to the other simultaneously. Course, he does have portals so it could be one, but I do not put anything past him."

He shrugged, "Sorry. I see events. Usually as they are happening, sometimes into the future. If you were suddenly dropped into a s scenario in a place you've never been would you know where it was?"

Sensing that the important conversation had come to a close Rebecca joined them and sat down next to Plo. She pulled her hair back into a simple ponytail and bound it with a hair tie that had been around her wrist.

"This Gray Order," Plo started, "Or whatever is decided to call it. I think there is no need to work in opposition. In the short term this Academy could train them as well."

"Notba bad idea," Rebecca said as she peeled a solitary gray strand of hair that had somehow gotten tangled into her eye lashes. "I guess we should ask who should head that order?"

Nick looked at Plo and Becca. "I've got enough on my plate but... who knows what the next month will bring. Becca...?"

"Fair enough. As for me, no, I couldn't even if I was qualified. I suppose we should tackle one problem at a time, and that's eliminating the Dirty Four," Rebecca replied.
