Selene leaned into his touch slightly as she let it relax her. Just that simple feeling made her feel grounded and safe.

“For like a couple months.” Bella said dismissively.

“You were still the President. I read the news articles and reports. You did impressive work.” Selene told her. “You still do. What do they call you two? Presidents Price?”

[Clint Cross]

"Still proud of her for keeping it together." Clint said with a wink of his eye. "Bigger heart you won't find anywhere. Whole Orphan colony started by this one... funded mostly by a swear jar and underwear."

[Isabella price]

“Oh god Dad please don’t talk about the underwear.” Bella said as she put her head in her hand.

“Why? I already ordered a pair.” Selene informed her.

“Oh god I don’t need that image.” Bella moaned. “Oh god it’s there I see it. Fucking hell. Ugh.”

“Salacious. Sexy enough to even seduce Presidents. Can’t wait to see if they work on directors.” Selene said laughing. “And the money helps the orphans right?”

[Clint Cross]

"As weird as it is to even THINK of my daughter in her underwear... I will admit, it's sexy as anything. Think of how many couples you've stoked the fires for. That's a good thing." Clint replied. "See Bells... we're a weird family... Selene here is just another part of it. You're raising our best friends kids and your siblings. And you got a husband who's leader of the free world, that's enjoying every second."

"I am indeed... they're all good kids at heart. And... it helps drive the point home with the Orphans, that adoption and fostering is not strange, it's a very loving option. The Colony was intended to be a place for them to have some normalcy until they get adopted into loving families. Be hypocritical of us to support it and not take in kids." Jon said as he put his arms around Bella. "And Salacious still gets MY heart racing. Although it's more how it looks on the woman wearing it. I wake up every day and I am immensely thankful that I have her in my life."

"Yes... all the men around here are sappy towards their partners..." Clint chuckled.

“I’m drowning in sap.” Selene said with an eye roll and laughed.

“And I’m scared for life picturing my father with you in that underwear.” Bella said rubbing her temples.

[Clint Cross]

Clint gave her a look. "Oh please... it's not like it's the first time you've seen her in something lacy and racy. Still... my mom in Scandalous... yikes. Now I've got THAT image in my head and..." he tapped his chin. "Might actually get one of those random boyfriends of hers to commit. I almost forgot to call her. It's been months since she's been around, at least she came to the funeral. Apparently my... her archery students are training for the biathlon so they've been up in the mountains training almost non stop for the past year. But there's a few other coaches and athletes she's been seeing. She'll be shocked that I met another Selene."

"I do miss having her around the Compound, but she does send messages every few weeks, last I heard she was considering competing herself." Jon said with an amused smile on his face. "I recognized the same toned arms that Bella has when she's been spending more time on the archery range. Although I've always been intrigued by the whole Olympics here on Terra Alpha, we may even have some athletes from Earth and other Imperium held worlds."

"Well mom and step dad did complete in the Olympics, back when we still HAD the Olympics on Earth. Even Jena Tana was, I think, a Silver medalist weight lifter." Clint replied. "I'm way too busy to compete on that level, besides... don't need a medal to tell me I got the gold."

[Isabella price]

"Yeah we couldn't let him compete. It wouldn't be fair to everyone else he never misses." Bella pointed out.

"Unless you competed." Selene suggested. "I hear you're just as good."

"I'm not." Bella said with a shake of her head.

"I don't hand out complements Isabella. If I say you're good you are." Selene said eyeing her as she crossed her arms. Her tone didn't leave room for discussion.

"She is... way more graceful than I am." Clint replied. "It's like watching a dance when she's in the zone."

"Well that she didn't get from her you." Selene said nudging him.

"Nope. That she got from her mother. And her grandmother." Clint said. "Skipped a generation with me."
