Temp Fix

[Liara]

Selene took the book and stepped to the side bringing Clint with her.

“He’s my father.” Selene said as she opened the box and pulled on the armor. “I wasn’t exactly forthcoming with how he supposedly died. I did think he was dead though. Everyone said he was but I should have questioned it. I should have made sure. This is on me.”

[Clint Cross]

"Well, to be fair... there've been enough people I've thought were dead who keep showing up. Even when you verify... they find a way. Hell, I can fake my death in five minutes. Leave enough DNA evidence to make a forensic's investigation moot." he gestured to Cece. "I thought she was dead too. I had DNA, even a tooth. Ask her to smile."

[Liara]

“Point taken.” Selene said and smiled at him. “You came for me.”

[Clint Cross]

"Of course, you're my partner... among other things." Clint whispered. "I'd always come for you if I could."

[Liara]

She leaned in and kissed him softly.

“Let’s go kill my father.” Selene whispered as she pulled away. “Then I want to forget.”

[Cece Ryder]

"Oh yeah that sounds healthy." Cece said as she pulled on a tactical vest and a sidearm. "I'm Cece... Carly, by the way. Living dead girl."

[Liara]

“I’ve heard of you.” Selene said with a raised eyebrow. “And something’s are best forgotten. Especially, if they’re replaced with better memories.”

[Cece Ryder]

"Well if you need to forget... I can help with that." Cece said softly. "But first things first."

[Liara]

“No offense but I think Clint’s got that covered.” Selene said with a glance at him. “Shall we Hawkeye.”

[Clint Cross]

"We shall Black Widow." Clint said as he handed her a set of handguns. "Loaded with armor piercing. Well, anything less than SKIN armor."

Cece cocked her head and rolled her eyes as she shook her head at them. "Wow..." she gave Olivia a look. "You knew about this?"

"Barely, but yeah." Olivia replied and continued to work on Noonian's back. "Don't think you and me don't have some talking to do when this is over. You're talking with a tiny bit of a drawl. As if you've been around Southern Belles a bit too long."

"And you have a bit more Aussie in your's, which means things must be going well with you and Kirby." Cece said with a slight smile.

"They are." Olivia replied.

"So, Kassie has my job." Cece said as she looked at the monitors and tried to map out a plan of attack in the lobby. "Taking forever for her to have her baby, guess carrying a quarter Xenexian child takes longer."

"Suppose it does." Clint cleared his throat. "You ready or you two want to chit chat?"

"Just confirming a few things." Cece replied and looked at Selene. "She's so not my Selene. Not sure yet if that's a good thing or not."

"It's a good thing." Clint said and unfolded his bow and adjusted the tension.

"I'll take your word for it." Cece nodded her head. "You two frontal assault, I'll come in from behind, that false pillar. Noonian, when you're ready... beam to the central control and shut down power to the building, lock down. I'd do it, but I found that most of my access is gone." she gave Selene a stern look. "Do not get yourself killed. No needless risks."

"Wow, it's like you're still a Fleet Captain." Clint deadpanned. "It's a good plan, let's go with it."
