[Liara]

“The falling was mutual.” Selene said looking up into his eyes. “But you said it first.”

[Clint Cross]

"Didn't take us very long to get this comfortable." Clint replied. "At least if I slip up and call you Selene it's not so weird, but I'm already starting to get used to Liara"

[Liara]

"I do like the way you say it." Selene said smiling at him.

[Clint Cross]

"So... Liara, given that Auntie Cece is keeping the kid's company..." Clint leaned over and kissed her. "We could 'christen' this part of the house... or I could show you the master bedroom. Hopefully they put in the king sized bed... provided Rommie wasn't forgetful."

[Liara]

“This would be nice but you did promise a tour.” Liara said with a grin. “And you said the bedroom was mostly sound proof.”

[Clint Cross]

"Indeed it is." Clint said as he got up and helped her to her feet. "So there are four bedrooms up here, three bath's, the guest room and the third bedroom share a common bathroom. I grew up sharing a single bathroom with five people, nevah evah again... two girls and three of us guys... yeah that did not work in the slightest." he walked down the hallway and pointed out the rooms. "Kaitlyn's here, James is over there, they've got different sides of the house, since James mentioned he sleeps better on this side than that side. Figured may as well do it now. Guest room and second guest room. One of these will be Cece's. And... the master suite."

Clint opened the door to the spacious bedroom with a set of french doors that opened out to an enclosed balcony. It was set up like a small living room, with a couple of large lounge chairs and tables, a large dresser between the window.

"So what do you think?" he asked as he looked around. "And I put in a small fridge... " Clint gestured to an ornate wooden box. "One of the other agents carved that for me after he retired. But it holds like a few bottles of wine and berries and snacks. Saves us from having to leave the bedroom." He winked his eye. "Everyone teases me about how long this took, but I built in so many things into this place. There are weapons in every room, palm sensor locks to secure them. The windows have tactical screens built in. The throw rugs are actually backed with kevlar and nomex, so they're like... shields. The door handles have biometric security, we can go between rooms, but intruders can't."

[Liara]

“Sounds like you thought of everything.” Selene said as she walked over to him and smirked. “It also sounds like you plan on spending a lot of time in here.”

[Clint Cross]

"Well, I always kind of did... " Clint said with a smile. "Besides... I tend to take the downtime when I can get it and make the most of it."

[Liara]

“Does that mean you’re about to make the most of it?” Liara inquired as she kissed him.

[Clint Cross]

"Entirely." Clint said as he wrapped his arms around her. "Why are you so irresistible? "
