"Come on Khan." Kinsey said as she placed her rifle on her back. "Jack's at least four decks below us." She added as she opened an access panel and climbed inside. They were going to have to move fast if they were going to reach Jack before Dominus figured out where they were or worse. If Dominus realized they were there she didn't want him getting the idea of going for Jack instead.

[Jack Ryder]

"I'll cover your flank." Khan replied as he climbed in after her. "Tell your man that whatever he's got planned, we need to do it while Ryder and Sandoval are keeping Dominus distracted."

~ I 'heard' you Khan... we're ready. As soon as we've got everyone that's leaving, we're blowing this section out into space, I trust you came on the Tigris?~ Jack said telepathically to them both. ~ This station is loaded with a lot of scary stuff... and we do not want the Brethren frontal assaulting the Tigris when we escape, unless you brought an entire fleet with you. Did you bring the box from my glove box? That'll buy us a little time.~

~I did and if I have to I'll destroy those ships as well.~ Kinsey said bitterly as she and Khan reached the section where several jefferies tubes met and would allow them to climb down. ~Dominus isn't leaving here alive and neither is the Brethren.~

[Jack Ryder]

~ Oh you won't get a sliver of argument from me on that. Should see what he did to Kirby last week... or maybe not.~ Jack said and sighed in relief. ~ I probably should tell you, that box calls my pod here. We're going to need to do some science before we leave this sector...~ he looked at the scar on his arm where he implanted a small isolinear chip of his research so far on the dimensional shift technology that Dominus had. ~ Oh and we've got another future kid that somehow found her way here, so we may need to drop her back off in the future. Not 'our' future kid, but Aimee Sandoval's daughter. Named one of her twins after Liv, that's providing she CAN be sent back.~

"Time travel makes my head hurt." Kinsey said aloud as she looked down the long stretch of ladder. It was a long way down if one of them fell the shafted seemed to stretch on for forever. She let out a soft sigh, thankful she didn't fear heights or falling and started down the ladder.

~We'll send her back and then we're going to Xenex to get our children and maybe get lost there for awhile.~

[Jack Ryder]

~ I am entirely on board with that plan.~ Jack said as he worked on the final adjustments. ~ Feels rather sexy being rescued by you this time around. I do want to see our kids and spend time with them before I am entirely at your mercy~

Kinsey laughed softly, ~Oh how I've missed you."

~ At least I had Kirby and Ashley to keep me company and focused... you know me, have to have a project, even if it's incredibly unethical and involves cloning but... wait'll Dominus gives them kill commands... they'll fight, but they won't kill anyone I 'safe' listed. Oh and uhm... if you see 'me' running around the corridors, it's not 'me' or Jackson... Dominus had enough clone raws to overtake Capitol City, thankfully without Jackson we lost a lot of them. Apparently he kept backup components here too...~

~I'm getting tired of clones and alternates too.~ Kinsey replied bluntly as she picked up the pace. ~We should be there in less then 30. I love you.~

"Khan pick up the pace! Jack has something planned with clones and I don't want to be here when it happens!" Kinsey yelled up at him even though they were both going at the same pace and Khan could easily over take her.

"You are bossy when you miss your husband aren't you?" Khan said with a smirk as he matched her pace. "You're a good woman Kinsey Calhoun... driven and bossy but a good woman. Even if you do turn people into tiny balls of meat and metal."
