“Or,” Kinsey began. “Nick has never been able to refuse Alice. He has a strict do not disturb order in place when he’s with her. We set a date and time, let him know, and leave before it. Alice will want to be with him before he leaves. He’ll get over being left behind he won’t get over me having his stuf stolen.”

"Perhaps that would be best... although there is the possibility he'll still come after us." Khan replied. "So either we find Jack quickly and return before he has a chance to mount his own mission." he winced. "Or we just let the man come with us, just keep him on the ship. Lock him and Alice in their quarters. I am pretty sure she will be able to keep him there. I quite like Alice, perhaps we may need their minds once we're in there. We handle the dirty work."

[A'mira Stormborn]

"No one knows the area besides Nick Ryder other than Dominus," A'mira added. "Letting him come isn't the worst idea."

"Besides, you know how stubborn Nicholas can be." Khan reminded her. "And I do think he would not be able to live with himself if anything happened to you as well. You are not expendable. I've seen how he is around you. You are as much a daughter to him as Angelica or Olivia. He was quite depressed while you were dead. And I have no idea if anything happens to you that we can somehow replicate the process that saved your life in the first place. Nor would he want to lose you and Jack."

Kinsey sighed, “fine but he stays on the damn ship. Now how do we find Dominus once we’re in Pythus?”

"I'm pretty sure he won't exactly be hiding. The question really is... how do we find Dominus and not have literally an entire sector gunning for us?" Khan replied. "As I recalled, he had operatives of his own pretty much everywhere. Much like our own Nicholas. Even when he was not the President, your's had an extensive network. So we'll have to be careful. Now, as much as Dominus probably thinks he knows everything, he's not omnipotent and there are plenty of ways for a small team to infiltrate and find Jack. Who I am pretty sure is formulating his own escape or he's like the rest of you and trying to be a do-gooder. Either way... you're both working from opposite ends."

"I do have to admit... if we do get a shot at Dominus, we need to take it. Of course... why would he feel so bold as to make a planetary visit here if he's still got his own agenda rolling in Pythus... there's far more at play. Like the Ryder Administration, far more below the surface." Khan said and crossed his arms. "Further down the road we are going to need to address that sector before something ELSE comes crawling out of it from my reality. You got lucky that Selene and I managed to be... tamed... we were not at all nice people back home and I was considered 'a good guy' compared to Tiberius."

“I’m well aware.” Kinsey replied and smirked. “And you’re the only one who never developed a fascination with my people after screwing one.”

"That's hilarious." Khan deadpanned.

"Kinda true... " Daisy replied. "They either marry them or get hopelessly obsessed."

"And why are you still single Miss Hill?" Khan said with a raised eyebrow.

"Trust me... I tried. Xenexian guys need to learn to bathe." Daisy said with a chuckle. "And too handsy."

"Allllright... don't need to get any more details on that... Kinsey, anything else you need from me before we get underway?" Khan inquired. "I am pretty sure I can swipe whatever I need from AlphaTek Tower."
