[Khan Noonian Singh]

"You killed him and his men... some of them." Khan replied as he put his hand to his face. "What the... are those?" he looked at Kinsey.

[Kinsey Calhoun]

"What?" Kinsey inquired as she looked down into the hole. The light reflecting off the lavender eyes of a small girl surrounded by several others of various races. From the top of the hold the girl almost looked like Kinsey when she was younger. "Again I should have taken my time."

"Are you the liberator?" The girl asked in Xenexian.

Kinsey nodded, "They're dead."

The girl nodded and shook the child leaning against her. Slowly the other children woke up and shielded their eyes from the bright light coming from above.

"Should call it in." Kinsey told Khan. "We're going to need evac and medical."

[Khan Noonian Singh]

"I agree." Khan said as he pulled out his communicator and sent a simple tone message to Daisy. Moments later she replied back. "Hill, we need medical and evac for... at least eight... nine." he squinted as he looked down the hole.

"Eight or nine what?" Daisy replied.

"Children. We found children, in a cargo hold." Khan said his voice just barely keeping his polished civility, what he really wanted to do was search the rest of the ship and crush the skulls of anyone aboard.

"I'll... sir?" Daisy's voice said and then she shouted "SIR?!"

"I've been feeling something since we arrived in orbit." Nick said as he beamed in and flamed his right hand on to provide more light. "Kinsey..." he saw one of the children in the hold as he poked his head in. "Is that Mac?"

[Kinsey Calhoun]

"You're suppose to stay on the ship." Kinsey scolded and raised an eyebrow. "Mac is with Keira and Zeke. They should be on Xenex by now."

[Nick Ryder]

"Yeah well, hardly helpless." Nick replied. "She looks a lot like her, who the hell is trafficking in Xenexian kids? Or rather... who would be receiving them? Your people are hardly ubiquitous, one or two in a million compared to every other major space faring race out there. But I'm sensing a lot of psionic potential."

[Kinsey Calhoun]

Kinsey growled, "they would have had to search hard for these kids. Psionics are not that common and not many of them are even close to my level."

[Nick Ryder]

"Not many psionics are close to your level." Nick said as he opened the hatch further. "Want to go in first? You're at least Xenexian, mine sounds like, and I'm quoting Cece 'like I'm saying it like a man who had a case of homebrew and slurs every second word'"

[Kinsey Calhoun]

"Well it's true." Kinsey said as she dropped into the hold. The stench hit her hard whoever Butch was hauling these kids for didn't care what condition they received them in. Now she really regretted not digging deeper into his mind before she killed him.

"Are you going to take us back to Xenex?" The girl inquired as she helped another to her feet.

"What's you're name?" Kinsey inquired in Xenexian as she knelt to wake one of the children.

"He's dead." The girl informed her as plainly. "Usually they remove the bodies but he died before they came back. My name is Soraya."

[Nick Ryder]

Nick and Khan dropped down after Kinsey. Both men looked visibly disturbed by the sight.

"Soraya, that's a pretty name." Khan said as he approached her and removed his jacket to cover the body of the dead boy. "What was his? We can make sure he's given a proper funeral on Xenex."

"Where were they taking you?" Nick asked as he scanned the hold.

[Kinsey Calhoun]

"I don't know we weren't allowed to talk to each other and they wouldn't tell us anything." Soraya said as she glanced at the jacket covering the boy.

What a waste, Kinsey could hear her think referring to the jacket.

"There were adults around 13 to 14 seasons." Soraya continued. "One of them tried to fight back and they killed her along with the rest of them. It's just us now."
